Very pleasant in store experience. Spent €1400 on a new Lenovo laptop and insurance. Arrived home to find this device doesn’t come with a charger. 1) this is ridiculous, selling me a new devi... See more

Appliances were great but the 3 lads, John, Shane and Samir were a pleasure to deal with. Very friendly and professional. Made the whole process stress free, they’re a credit to the company
I bought a printer on September 1st when the price on the website was 299 Euros. My order went through and was confirmed at this price. When I checked the website later, Currys had updated the product page to add a note saying "25 June to 1 September was 299," and the price was changed to 239 Euros. I do not know exactly when they made this change, but seeing a 60 Euro price drop right after my purchase is incredibly frustrating. This is the second negative experience I have had with Currys in just one week, and their pricing practices are highly disappointing. Dealing with their physical store is one thing, but their online sales are a completely different headache. It is definitely time for me to start looking at other shopping options.
Appalling service in the Galway store. Waiting 30 minutes today to buy over 2K worth of goods, only to be ignored. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time. Had the same experience two weeks ago too, but had hoped it was a one off. Plenty of staff walking around both times but no one looking to take a sale.
I am waiting for the refund since June. So many messages, phone conversations, and nothing.
They collected the product after my many phone calls and emails ( it was delivered by their mistake) not I am waiting for the refund since many weeks. Please be very careful!
I ordered a tv. It was delivered quickly but it was delivered smashed. I had to send it back and wait over 2 weeks with constant emails of tracking to finally be told I was getting another t.v. – which i will be returning as soon as its delivered. Customer service can be really helpful, but incredibly slow. I had one lad end the call after putting me on hold while tracking my order. Never ever again!
We bought a Logik dishwasher from Curry's Mahon point in July 2024. It has stopped working. So we contacted their helpline and all forms of contact to be told our guarantee has expired after a year which of course we knew already. We visited the shop last weekend to be told the same thing and they are only cheap €279.00. So why do they sell them if they only last 2 years. We were given a phone number which doesn't exist for logik. We were also given an email which there is no response from. I explained to them just because the warranty has expired it doesn't mean as a customer I don't have rights as per consumer rights. The 2 guys I spoke to said they were only filling in for another person. Very poor customer service. All I want is a guailified technician to come out and look at it. When you look for a technician for logik you are sent to the Curry's website. Avoid Curry's at all costs. Logik is a brand that is only sold in Curry's. I wouldn't recommend buying this brand.
Currys Mahon Point. Served by Aaron. Pleasant man. Products I wanted were not available in store or on line, though display models were on the shelves
Appalling service. I placed an order on August 31st and was shocked to see the delivery date set for September 9th. Waiting 9 days for an online order is unacceptable nowadays, but what makes it worse is that Currys charges a massive €40 for delivery! Paying such a high delivery fee should guarantee fast service, not an agonizingly long wait. Absolutely ridiculous, will not be buying from them again

Poor customer service from Aleks at Currys, Foster Square, Bradford branch. Very bad attitude and poor customer service. Looked stressed out while we were discussing printer cartridges.

Another in a series of totally unsatisfactory and unacceptable interactions with this tone deaf company. On 23 August I bought a Firestick in Mahon Point Cork. The money was taken from my card. The till could not issue a receipt. I was requested to pay again at a till that could issue a receipt. I was assured that the system would automatically recognise that the first transaction was invalid and that the money would be refunded within a few days. Naive on my part. They requested that I 'call back' if this did not happen. A 140 mile round journey in prospect! And this is customer service

Title: Two failed deliveries and diabolical customer service!Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5)I ordered a Logik fridge from Currys Ireland and it has been an absolute nightmare. The delivery failed twice because of completely incompetent drivers who simply could not get the job done. Worse still, the customer service is diabolical. Trying to get an update or a resolution is impossible, and no one seems to care that I am left without an essential appliance.Unreliable delivery and terrible support. I strongly advise buying your appliances elsewhere

I ordered a tablet online.
1- When I received it, I requested to return my product following the instructions on the return form.
2- Days later (Monday, 24th August) I received an email telling me that DPD would come collect the device on Thursday. They added in the message that in case the driver didn't have a returns label (?) I should just write the address on the package.
3- I responded asking if I could be given a more concrete time slot and how would I have proof and track my return if the driver didn't have the label. No response. I also didn't get any notification from DPD saying they would come.
4- On Thursday DPD didn't show up.
5- At the end of the day, I waited in line 30 minutes to talk to someone in support. I asked if I could be given a return label so I could simply go and drop off the device. The agent said he would me a QR code. This took a while and finally he confirmed he had sent it but "it take a while to arrive". The QR code never arrived in my inbox.
6- On Friday I sent a new email to support. I also called them again. New agent told me that actually QR code wouldn't work because in Ireland there's no drop-off option for returns. She said I would receive a new email with confirmation of DPD collection. It sounded like she was simply filling in a new return request , the same I had filled in originally , and as I attempted to get an explanation of what steps she was taking and what would be different this time, would I receive a notification from DPD, etc, I was met with the same apathy as the previous call.
7- Hours after this call I still didn't get any email. Seems impossible to organise a simple return. Appalling experience.
8- Update: It is now Tuesday September 1st, I still didn't get any email from Currys to resolve this or from DPD about a pick-up.

It was the 2 man delivery team that won Gold for Curry's Mahon Point, for me. This morning the 2 man team otherwise known as The Norries A Team, were exceptional in their Delivery and Customer Relations. Because of them I would purchase at Currys again . Thank you A Team.
I purchased a LOGIK American-style fridge freezer from Currys in late November 2023. It has developed a suspected refrigerant leak, causing all the food inside to spoil and now leaving a noticeable gassy smell in my kitchen, which is a genuine health and safety concern.
I first reported the fault by email over two weeks ago and initially got no response at all. When I finally received a reply, I was asked to provide my personal details to "investigate further." I did so promptly, and that was the last I heard. Since then I have sent three further follow-up emails, and not one has been answered.
To make things worse, their customer service phone line doesn't actually connect you to a person who can help.
Overall, the customer service experience has been genuinely horrible. A safety-related fault has been left unresolved for weeks, with no communication, no accountability, and no way to get a real person on the phone. I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from Currys Ireland to think twice given how they handle issues after the sale.

Update. 28/08/26. Still no response from Currys support team.

Bought a Black and Decker cordless vacuum cleaner. Always had good experiences with Curry's but this time not so much. Order arrived fairly soon, but missing all kinds of parts. Contacted customer service, which took two weeks to come back to me. Amrit asked for some details and I thought, that's that, but no... No further correspondence. Week - maybe more- getting an email from another customer service person Neeraj. Asked me for the same details.... I have no hope that I'll ever get the parts I paid for. Not good enough!

I am absolutely disgusted with Currys Ireland. I bought an ASUS laptop which developed a spontaneous screen fault within the first 12 months. Currys has been holding my device since June (Ref: 078618). When I brought it in, the Service Docket recorded "Product Condition" as completely clean with no external damage or scratches.First, ASUS sent an email claiming the damage was internal and "only visible under bright light with screen off". Today, I went to the Jervis Centre store and a staff member rudely refused to honor my statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022. They showed me a picture of a screen completely smashed in half, which contradicts the initial email and proves the device was either mishandled by them or they are trying to scam me. They told me their own customer service "does not work" and that I have until today to pay for the repair.I strictly reject this. Since they refused a replacement or refund, I have officially submitted my application to the Small Claims Court. Do not buy here, they do not respect Irish Consumer Law.

Ordered an iPhone and now I'm being ghosted by Currys. When I call a call centre describing itself as 'customer service' I'm met with indifference and inaction.
I am now waiting nine weeks for an iPhone which was due to arrive on June 15. It shows on the DPD website as in transit. DPD say it is lost. I have called Currys customer service five times now and each time I'm told a generic line of: the team are working on it. I'm 600 euro down with no iphone. Currys have terrible customer service. They're also obviously not across their stock, that iPhone has either been stolen or damanged. Awful business, I will never order from them again.

I visited Currys in Mahon Point on Friday to look at a TV and a Fitbit for my elderly mother. I knew what I was looking for, but I really needed some help in-store to make sure I chose the right products.
Aaron was absolutely brilliant. He took the time to listen to exactly what I needed, researched the products to make sure they were suitable, and gave me all the information I needed to make an informed decision. He was patient, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful.
I couldn’t recommend Aaron highly enough. Customer service like this makes such a difference, especially when you’re buying something for an elderly family member and want to get it right.
Fair play to Currys for having such a great member of staff, and a huge thank you to Aaron for all his help! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
terrible, ordered a small freezer we didn't end up needing, ordered a cancellation nldame day no worry's there, I was contacted ONCE by an automated bot asking for info which I gave, a week passed I got the same email, I cancelled over a month ago and still no one human has contacted me to arrange refund, I won't be using them ever again
ps. the reply below is false also, I got onto them and still nothing DO NOT USE CURRYS

I purchased a Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 from Currys Liffey Valley on 05/05/2023 for €229.
After a little over three years, the earbuds developed serious faults and eventually became unusable. I contacted Currys for assistance, but because the warranty had expired, I was simply directed to the manufacturer.
I then contacted Sennheiser, only to be told — after waiting around a month for a response — that their True Wireless earbuds cannot be repaired at all and can only be replaced during the warranty period.
This means that a €229 premium product can become effectively disposable once the warranty expires. Currys offered me no repair solution, replacement, voucher, discount, or other meaningful support.
I understand that warranties have limits, but I expected much better after-sales support from a major retailer selling premium electronics. Being passed from the retailer to the manufacturer, only to eventually be told that nothing can be done, was extremely disappointing.
Based on my experience, I would be very hesitant to buy premium headphones or earbuds from Currys again.
