I have been using TransferWise to send currencies since 2011. Even when I’ve made careless mistakes, their efficient customer service team has remained friendly. I didn’t hesitate to open a borderless... See more

Fastest and best. It’s take few seconds to arrive at the destination.
A bunch of incapable staff can only bring down customer experience. My account has been deactivated due to address change. I have uploaded the requested document, worked with three agents, exchanged several emails, sent document through email and one agent also uploaded the document himself, yet they cant activate my account over weeks and each one keep saying we have escalated it will take "another" one day. Disgusting.
Super unhappy, because transfer doesn't work and the account is frustrated

Super easy to transfer money. I use it as my travel card. Saves me on international bank fees.

For me, it's a hassle to transfer money to my Wise account—I have to create a request first. And if it doesn't work, then I end up paying the fees—an absolute no-go!

Left with no accommodation and no help from WISE.
I do not understand the rating for this organisation. Their customer service is appalling. Some of them cannot even put a sentence together.
I am a long term Wise customer. I tried to pay for a hotel tonight. I logged in, with my password. I did the second verification process. Then i completed my payment for accommodation. It required me to confirm via my Wise account that the payment was correct and to authorise it. I did that. Wise then required me to enter my password again. I did that. Then went back to the hotel payment portal and I got a notification that the payment was denied. I went back to my Wise account and got the ludicrous message that they had denied the payment because they were not sure I had made it and to try again tomorrow. But I need the payment now, WISE, not tomorrow. So then I spoke to a bunch of incompetent WISE customer service incompetents who advised me what I had told them 5 times over, that the payment had been declined because they were not sure it was me who paid it. I asked to speak to a manager. A manager will call me back in 2 days time. But, WISE, I will lose my booking. And their simple, arrogant response was to use another payment method. I have now tried multiple times - hours later, tomorrow. Every time WISE has denied the payment because they are not sure it is me.
So folks, cancel WISE, get a new card. They cannot be relied on, THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU NEED WHEN YOU ARE TRAVELLING. YOU COULD BE ENDANGERED BECASUE YOU HAVE NO ACCESS TO YOUR MONEY AND CANNOT PAY FOR THE THINGS THAT KEEP YOU SAFE WHEN TRAVELLING.
transfer took longer than expected with the sending time changed few times.

The best borderless account anywhere. The App and Website are so easy to use. The fees are absolutely minimal and it’s fast, fast, fast. When I transfer money from my main UK account, I get a notification from Wise that I have the money, before I get one from my bank to say it’s gone! Also great notifying of upcoming payments to ensure I have money in the account. I’ve used it lots when travelling abroad to create an account in that currency to spend in that country. Only very minor negatives are only around £200 a month free cash withdrawal (and you’re always going to be charged by the ATM) and you can’t pay in cash or cheques but that’s totally understandable.
