I have been a customer since the company was known as TransferWise. After a period of inactivity, I attempted to log in last month only to find my account closed. My appeals have been met with poor communication from customer service, and I am currently caught in a cycle where my account is reactivated, only to be automatically closed again upon performing basic actions like activating currencies or requesting a card. I am deeply frustrated by this repetitive process. Given the lack of appreciation for long-term users, I feel it is best to move on rather than invest further time. I would advise others to be cautious about keeping funds in these accounts if they wish to avoid similar difficulties.

Can talk to a human
Wise are not always the cheapest or give the best interest rate on the market, but they are fairly up there. I don’t trust the likes of Revolut where I can’t phone up an actual human. Wise make it simple and easy to save, and most importantly I know my account is safe with them. And I have a human back up on the phone if something goes wrong or I need help with transfers.
Best thing is the “human “ backup is understandable and not the dreaded type of human back up we dare not mention or we would get in trouble !
