So far, I’m quite happy with pCloud. It’s easy to use, and the backup feature works well for new photos. The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars right now is that when I turned on automatic backup,... See more

Update: The pCloud folks got back to me and helped me figure it out. They were backlogged and very busy. So, in part, it was somewhat my panicking. Thanks pCloud!
Old: No problem with using the product until this past week when I went to a link and there was a message saying to the effect “oh no there is nothing at this link”, paraphrasing. I use the cloud service to house files for a pharmacist education program. So participants couldn’t access the files. I have four terabytes of space and have used under 100 gigabytes and the “service” appears to have removed large files. I tried to upload the backups but it says I don’t have enough space! I filled out the support request form and sent an email. Four days and no response. So if you have any critical access issues, you are left hanging. Non-existent support!!! Update: pCloud responded to Trustpilot review, but I have yet to get a response to my original email to them from 3/9/2026. I sent another email 3/12/2026 and also replied to the Trustpilot request for more information. We will see if they respond. I do appreciate them responding to the Trustpilot review.

I am your affiliate partner.
I have invested a lot of effort and money to generate revenue for you and earn commissions for myself, but to this day I have not received any commission payment? Nor have I received any response from you? Have you disbanded or something, since you haven't responded to us regarding the commission payment?
What you're doing is unacceptable! You're accusing me of violations without evidence? Are you saying this to avoid paying me commission?

I am a paying pCloud user on macOS Mojave with Desktop version 3.15.7. For two full days, the app shows “No Internet Connection” and refuses to work, even though my network is fully functional. Yesterday, I also tried the web interface, which failed as well.
What is most alarming is the complete silence from pCloud. No updates, no acknowledgements, no instructions – nothing. This total lack of communication for 48+ hours is unacceptable and shows a blatant disregard for paying customers.
I rely on pCloud for important work, and this level of negligence is unprofessional and damaging to your reputation. Immediate action, clear communication, and a real fix are the only acceptable responses.
pCloud, you cannot ignore your paying users – we deserve transparency and a working product.
“Update in response to pCloud’s reply…”
Hello,
pCloud has clearly abandoned support for macOS Mojave and earlier. Selling “lifetime” licenses while making the software unusable on still-common systems is misleading.
Please provide the last version that officially works on macOS 10.14 Mojave so customers can actually use the product they paid for.
Thank you.

I’ve generally been happy with pCloud’s syncing performance, because when it works, it’s solid. But the customer support experience has been extremely disappointing.
I’ve been a paying customer since 2019, and this is now the third year in a row I’ve had the same renewal/billing issue: I have to chase support so they charge me for the correct (higher) plan, and only then my account can sync normally again.
This year, I emailed on 22/02/2026 (one day before renewal) reminding them to renew on the 4TB plan instead of the 2TB plan. There was no response, and pCloud still charged €99 for the 2TB plan automatically. I followed up on 26/02/2026 and every couple of days since, but a week later I still haven’t received a response.
To make things worse, I’m currently unable to sync my files, which is urgent and directly impacts my work.
Syncing may be good, but if support doesn’t show up when there’s a billing or account issue, it’s hard to recommend. Pricing also has not been updated in years, and their plans are becoming less and less attractive.

UPDATE APRIL 6, 2026
------------------------------
I'm upgrading my rating to 4 stars because after several weeks, pCloud updated their software to allow Mojave (Mac OS 10.14) users to continue to connect and use their sync feature using their desktop software.

If there are any business management students who want to see how not to run a company, pCloud would be a prime candidate.
Their concept is great — free lifetime storage without monthly fees. Their execution is a disaster. Buggy software, non-existent support and recently, they just stopped supporting older machines without any warning. So if you have a WebDav client on your machine that connected to your pCloud Drive, that's now gone. When asked why? Their support says, "Upgrade your OS." I have 6TB that I now can't access from my computer — only via browser.
Find another provider. These guys are the worst.

Logged me out, and no other way to log back in. Email server is broken and does not send any verification code for >8hrs now. It's joke, not even a reset my password link, no 2nd factor authentication. AI agent is junk on webchat, no live agent, no support.

I made a mistake when setting up my account.
The support team helped me.
It could have been a little faster, but they did a good job.

I have been a user of pCloud for over eight years now. I am extremely pleased that I am able to get ample, easily accessible, secured storage for a reasonable price. pCloud's value is much greater than its price. I am thrilled by pCloud's customer/support services. They have always been quite responsive and helpful when I needed them. I’m a big fan of pCloud and have recommended it to others who need file storage, and I’ll keep doing so.

Great App. Great After Sales services. Satisfy and highly recommended

Functionality, speed, value, all great. That's why it's two stars not one.
My problem is that pCloud is clearly having some issues with users being able to see other users' files - bad enough - and while they clearly know about it and make some vague efforts to address concerns to individual users (see other posts here and on Reddit), they seem to want to ignore it as a general thing.
To me, it implies they just want it all to go away instead of dealing with it,. And I don't want a company with my files to have that attitude, so I'm moving to another provider.

Recent glitch causes my pCloud to become Japanese and force-download a bunch of Japanese files I do not know of into my private pCloud account!
This behavior is only for PC. pCloud has been a good service and it's convenient, but do not let that fool you - they do not give a poo about you and your data, and they have either ignored or deny the glitches through email communications. It's been a week and nothing has been fixed.

I was a user of pCloud but I closed my account. Many users are seeing other peoples files on their computer. This is a serious data breach.
Search pCloud Reddit for many examples and screenshots of this.
Edit (19-01-2026) in response to pCloud's response:
You say that "Such information (file metadata) constitutes personal data under the GDPR" and you also say "Should the incident qualify as a notifiable personal data breach, we will notify the competent supervisory authority and affected users without delay." Clearly, from the many reports and screenshots on Reddit, this data breach has occurred on several occasions and continues to occur, so you should have already notified them. You have not issued a formal statement about these incidents after a whole month, and continue to make it sound as if nothing has happened. You are concealing a serious data breach and basically playing down the seriousness of the situation. Furthermore, if there is a bug in the client software you should have released a fix by now. The truth is that you don't want to admit culpability.

Unfortunately I have to give pCloud a 1 star review.
I have had a lifetime plan for 3 years now and for a while things were OK with the service. I use pCloud to synchronize files between various devices and depend upon a reliable and reasonably fast synchronization process.
However, for the last year or so the latest client pCloud apps have introduced a significant delay in synchronizing files. For example, a small 2kb file can be edited on one device and it will take several minutes before the change is propagated to the server and other devices. This can lead to conflicted file versions, or even non-synchronized files if a device is closed or shut down before the file has uploaded. This problem has been reported to pCloud several times with debug logs and steps to reproduce but the issue remains unfixed.
For my use this delay is unacceptable and I have now moved to a competing product where files are synchronized immediately.
Furthermore, there have been numerous reports on Reddit concerning data breaches where some users have seen other users' files on their machines. So far there is no official statement on the matter and that in itself is worrying.
Unfortunately, due to these issues, I can no longer recommend pCloud.
Update 12.02.2026 - to pCloud's reply. The email address I use for Trustpilot is different than my pCloud email address. I don't need to give you this because I have been in email correspondence with pCloud's "Bob" about this problem since April 8 2025. There have been many emails about this since then so pCloud know about the problem. The last email from "Bob" said "We have forwarded this information to the relevant team. Once we receive their response, we will update you with the outcome." As I don't believe you have any intention to solve this issue my 1 star review stands.

I’ve never managed to get pCloud to work properly, and I’ve never managed to get any useful help from their support people.
I need it to do one thing - store a real-time copy of every document, note and photo that I have on my phone; MacBook; and Dell. If I create or alter a new document I expect it to appear on pCloud and be accessible at any time if the relevant device is unavailable for any reason.
This morning I needed to access on my phone some documents I created yesterday on my Dell. No sign of them either via backup or synch. I got home and checked pCloud desktop on the Dell - none of them are there. Indeed the synch copy hasn’t updated for a year. The backup copy is at least a month behind and my photos (also set to backup automatically) are two months behind.
This has happened every time I’ve ever needed to rely on a backup, so I have zero confidence in pCloud to restore a device in the event of damage or loss.
I would not recommend anyone touches pCloud with a bargepole, let alone bet on a lifetime storage purchase.

Made the mistake of purchasing a 2 Tb package. However, as I use a Mac I was unable to get the software to allow me to work properly on a nearly new MacBook Pro. Contacted support and they sent me what they regard as easy to use instructions to solve the problem but their instructions simply don't work. I am now about a month down the line since purchase and just deleted the software as I have no faith in it ever working on a Mac. Waste of my money and now going back to external SSD drives which in the past have always been very reliable. Cannot recommend pCloud to anyone, save your money for an external ssd drive

I bought 500GB disk space from pcloud a couple of years ago, now I notice on the app and my hard drive I have 65GB free space left, suddenly I can no longer upload anything onto pcloud and all my song lyrics are no longer appearing. The company claims my memory is full. This is a scam because I emptied all heavy programs such as Adobe Master etc to make more space, and I have had no reply to my mail, and it seems to me they are forcing customers to extend their space, by lying to them, their own app shows how much space I have, my computer gives a 2nd opinion and I know for sure it is not near 500 gb. I do not like the way the company works, it is unethical just cutting off your memory without even a warning, and in this case it is pure hard selling tactics from greed-driven owners, disgusting!!!

Update, On January 21st, the issue was resolved. I am adjusting my review from one star to three stars, considering the time it took to resolve this matter.
On January 12 I purchased the 500GB version of the product. Within two days, the storage capacity was full. My understanding was that upgrading to the 2GB which is $400 version would only incur a charge for the price difference of $200 and I'll have 2TB. However, upon selecting the upgrade option, my credit card on file was immediately charged $400 without showing me the new charges. If I saw that it will be another $400 Ion top of the $200 that i just paid I would've not agreed to the upgrade. On January 12, I contacted customer service to resolve this issue. On January 14, I received an email presenting two options. I responded to this email asking clarification but did not receive a reply. Two days later, I sent a follow-up email, again without a response. After another two days, I sent a third email, still without a reply. Therefore, I request the closure of my Acorns account and a refund of $600 to my account, as this experience does not align with my expectations for a long-term membership..
