A complete waste of time

A complete waste of time - they send people who supposedly like you and no profile appears and this happens more often than not. Met one person who said She had NOT Liked me but I was told she did - this is fraudulent added to which I thought I was choosing a cheaper option and it turned out to be an additional one which cost even more! There is an ongoing charge but I cannot find any way of cancelling it

A MUST TO AVOID!!

Beware: your face will appear in their marketing emails !!!

I started creating a profile, but paused before I uploaded any photos. Thank goodness! Every day since then I've been getting an email showing faces of people who live in my area. Because of my work, I don't want my face to appear in emails being sent to people in my area. But it seems THERE IS NO WAY TO OPT OUT OF APPEARING IN THEIR MARKETING!!!
The fact that it took 5 emails to their customer support to clarify this ... is another reason not to recommend them.

Update: after 10 more exchanges with customer service (not exaggerating) I was told there is a hidden charge of £9.99 PER MONTH for the privilege of excluding my photo from their marketing emails. Normally you would only even find out about this charge AFTER you've already subscribed to the main service. A nasty hidden surprise. I plan to follow up with Trading Standards to check if this practice is illegal.

Living in Spain, it is worth a punt.

I live in Spain and have been on this site for about 3 months. I would say they are the best of a bad bunch. When narrowing down your search, they send profiles of reasonably local people in the age range. They charge mainly by the week / month / 6 months. The latter is about 25e / month. May not be so well known, but all in all, not bad at all.

Worst of the worst

Worst of the worst. Constant irrelevant emails about interest in you but when you go into the site to check there's nothing there. Customer support told me it's because the 'interest' had deleted their profile. Utter nonsense! Way overpriced for no return. WASTE YOUR MONEY AT YOUR PERIL!

The only free thing about this dating…

The only free thing about this dating website is you putting a profile on there and then this company has your details, so don’t do it and don’t be fooled.
You then get bomb barded with profiles of people who have viewed you, liked you and even sent messages. Then you decide to pay for a subscription, in my case £29.99 for 1 week only to find no messages and some profiles have even disappeared in regard to the emails you received. The website itself is really bad to navigate and then when you try to cancel the setting don’t let you, even though the FAQs tell you you can. Websites like this need better supervision and legislation in place so that they can’t continue to fool people and play with their mental health. SO PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY SUBSCRIPTION WITH OUT TIME, ITS A CON

Totally misleading operator !!

Don’t join !!!
Once you give out your payment details it’s a nightmare trying to cancel the subscription !
Why would you cancel ? … well they continue to list profiles that are out of date and in many cases have been left active without the users permission .
If it looks like a con then it’s a con , you decide .
I can’t even find a way to delete my profile .
Phone number never answered and customer service can’t be reached !
Match .com contact you without permission and bombard you !
If they don’t cancel my payment details and account I will contact their regulator .

Business Model Ruined By Customer Service

I got lucky on the dating website so this review is not a grudge.
Our Time have found a profitable business model and they have met their perfect match. They profit from vulnerable and lonely people without giving a care for them.
Some of Our Time customers have suffered from bad relationships & Our Time is another.
Why when I have found the one can I not hide of delete my profile?
Why can't I turn off notifications? Yes, I am my new partner have been through the process but Our Time ignore preferences.
Imagine you have suffered a cheating relationship and your new partner is getting regular emails stating you have a new admirer, someone likes you, return the favour.
Come on Our Time. You have my money, your dating app worked and I would give it 4* but customer service is at best non existent and at worse very damaging.
You claim you cater for the over 50's so cater for over 50's
If my match doesn't work out, I won't be back, you have lost a customer through inaction, ignoring preferences well done!

Utter rubbish site

Utter rubbish site. So many scammers and people claiming to be in the UK and are not. Expensive and they try their best to trick you into paying more money than you need too. So stay away from this site and parent site like match.com. You're better off going out for the evening to a bar/club. Or join a hobby club to meet a new relationship.

So disappointed with this site.

So disappointed with this site.
I hadn’t even paid to join, just gone as far a doing a profile and they were sending me possible matches and men were ‘liking’ me.
These poor guys didn’t know I was in no position to respond, therefore were being duped.
I did join up for 6 months on the offer of 50% off and soon realised a lot of the gentlemen on there weren’t even or were no longer members, but I was given their profiles anyway.
Once my membership expired my profile was still being sent out to gentlemen and even when I updated my profile to explain I wasn’t a member any longer so couldn’t respond I was still getting messages and ‘likes’ generated.
I updated my profile again to tell gentlemen that they were being tricked.
Eventually the people in charge of the system wiped my wording clean but my profile was still up there to trick prospective gentlemen!
I eventually managed to delete my profile from the system.

This OurTime dating site is a con.
