An excellent product. We are pleased with both the quality and the result. It has stopped the cats from bringing mice inside. You can set up schedules, which creates a sense of security and a routine for both us and the cats. When we placed our order, they took the time to ensure the product was right for us and would suit our cats. In other words, they look after their customers—even before the purchase is made. We encountered an issue and contacted them via Facebook Messenger; they replied the same day, even over the weekend. We were able to troubleshoot and resolve the problem. We are incredibly happy with the entire experience and the customer service.

Having bought from the Kickstarter, it's been the answer to our prays.

If you want a reliable AI catflap that will stop your cat taking in unwanted guests, this is the answer.

Not once have we had an issue that wasn't quicker resolved by their team within the day if not hours.

So happy with my onlycat cat flap. I was of course nervous about spending the money but in around 6 weeks we've not had a single live or dead animal brought in the house, the cat flap has been working great, and the app provides such high quality videos. It's so satisfying to see the "contraband detected" notification - every time it happens I feel it's even more worth the money. Easy to install even with the big mount, and great instructions.

Love the cat flap, easy to install, the app is easy to use. I love the fact that it’s plug in rather than battery powered.

One tiny tiny issue I have is the plastic that was used for the mounting adaptor seems to be some really cheap non UV protected plastic. The outside half of it started turning an awful shade of yellow within a week. Everything else is completely fine, pure white. If that could be sorted, I’d definitely rate them 5/5, it already saved us a few times from our cat bringing us unwanted presents.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this cat flap changed my life. One of my cats is a menace and never kills his prey. I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve had to catch live rodents in my living room at 3am in my pyjamas.

I lost so much sleep over it, but waking up in the middle of the night chasing the local wildlife around my house is now a thing of the past thanks to the OnlyCat cat flap.

It has been installed for about a month and has intercepted at least 10 instances of live contraband. The software even apprehended my other cat when he tried to bring home a chicken nugget that he found outside. Seems to work on contraband of all shapes and sizes and so far has not failed once.

It is a bit of a faff to always have it plugged into a main socket and does require an extension lead due to my room layout. However, I’d rather an ugly extension lead than ever have to catch another rat with my bare hands again.

The app works really well and the video feed with alerts is a brilliant feature.

It was an expensive purchase, but I would absolutely recommend it for anyone with cats like mine. Very much worth the price we paid.

Unfortunately I've not had the best start with onlycat but am still optimistic the issues I've been having will get better as I noticed most customers have had a great experience. When I received my only cat Unfortunately it was faulty and the cable didn't go into the device properly and kept disconnecting. I sent it back and thankfully it was fixed very quickly and the customer care team kindly sent it back really quickly as I was going away and wanted to make sure it was working ok before I left which thankfully it was. A few times the cat flap has identified what it thinks is a contraband and hasn't let both cats in with a dirty sponge in their mouth which i have no objection to them not being allowed in with a dirty sponge instead of a prey but today the first time since the onlycat flap has been working one of my cats has been detected bringing in a bird but unfortunately the only catflap let him in with the prey which was a small bird in found in my bathroom on return from my holiday. I have reported this to the team but it's been a stressful start unfortunately. Hopefully it'll get sorted and I'll be able to report a better feedback because I still have hope after reading other reviews as its such a brilliant idea and piece of mind when it does work properly.
Tomas has got back to me and explained a very rare occurrence happened and the policy has now been set to sort things out. Trust my cat to exit the catflap and catch a bird within a very short time. The catflap has now been set to detect contraband on both entry and exit to time it correctly. Hopefully it'll be sorted now. To mention the team generally respond pretty quickly if it's important.

Brilliant innovation, faultfree!!

We love our cat but not the presents she kept bringing in! Then found OnlyCat and my word…it is brilliant. Easy to swap out with our existing SureFlap and first night, it stopped Delilah bringing a rat in! Yes it ain’t cheap, but it’s so worth the investment. Their support is excellent as well…a quick phone call and they fixed a rule problem remotely. Definite 5 stars from me!

"Does EXACTLY what it says on the tin!"

Had for about 3-4 months now and gone from 7-8 critters a week to 0 since install.

USB power rather than batteries is one less hassle. Comes with a usb power delivery block but I decided to replace my socket with a power delivery usb socket (check specs before you buy a usb socket for this!) which wasnt cheap, but my choice.

Easy install as footprint matched my previous cat flap.

App works well, some minor niggles, but frequent updates and keeps getting better.

I've also hooked it into Home Assistant (if you know, you know) which also works well.

Ordering and delivery was superfast and USB extension ordered after also came quickly. I did contact support, who took a little time getting back to me, but my email was suggestions rather than an issue, so not worried about timeframe.

Overall, works perfectly, such a simple genius use of AI! Love it about as much as you can love a cat flap :)

I’ve had my OnlyCat installed for 8 months. From the moment it was installed it hasn’t let me down, blocking 100% of attempts to bring in mice or birds. No more coming down the stairs each morning to clean up whatever mess has been left. Worth every single penny! Installation was easy, but I was just swapping out for a SureFlap.

This catflap has honestly changed my life! It was way too expensive for me but I don’t regret the investment. My cat was bringing mice home everyday and sometimes twice. After installation it stopped him every time. I also realised from the built in camera that other cats were trying to get in too. My cat continued trying to bring mice home for a long time but it’s been a couple of months now since the last attempt, so I’m hoping he’s finally given up! xD

Works great, had it for maybe 3-4 months now. I have two cats, both microchipped, who try to bring prey into the house and I’ve had no issues since installing the cat flap. The technology is great, it works better than I could have hoped! I was reticent for the price but I do think it’s worth it.

Genuinely fantastic.
We had a few teething issues and problems with the flap reading the microchips of our cats so had to wait for some updates before we got the full use but it was so worth it. No more waking up to headless animals deposited around the house!
The new app update has been well received too, easily see who is in and out along with who is trying to get in but ought not to be. Helped us track down one of our neighbours lost cats as we had her trying to get into our flap!
We get a few false alarms for contraband in the height of summer but the flap is installed in a south facing door so it’s purely the glare from the sun, it resolves when the cat tries again and it’s a small niggle for the peace of mind.
Superb investment, worth the cost and would highly recommend - so glad we took the chance on the crowdfunding!

This thing just works!!! Full stop. Our cat used to bring wildlife in almost every day but now it has completely stopped! Brilliant… a life changer for us!

I have had this fitted for about 2 months now. It has been a life saver. So far has stopped 8 presents from my two cats.
I was a bit reluctant due to the price but has been totally worth it.
App is good and easy to use. Has only blocked cats only once thinking it had something in his mouth but he didn’t. Overall so far so good.

While still beeing a start-up the app is already working very good and is always getting better. No issues with the hatdware at all.

This has saved us so much stress, no 'presents' have made it past the Only Cat flap! Wish I bought one earlier. Sooo good. Loved seeing the videos too.

We were consistently bothered by many gifts brought in at night by our three cats.
Every morning I would dread coming down stairs to see what had been left for us.It was particularly difficult when the Grandchildren were here.
