Positive experience
Had my appointment at InterHearing with Helen, who made the whole experience a positive one.
I was a bit nervous going in I'll be honest, but Helen was patient, kind and informative. The micro suction procedure was painless and simple, and Helen fully explained what would happen, and any after care needed.

Signage could have been better
Signage could have been better. I thought the waiting area was a bit scruffy. My treatment was fine and explained well but, when I said I was nervous because of a previous bad ear wax removal, I felt I could been given more reassurance.

I'm pleased your procedure with our audiologist was fine and explained well, we always try to explain the procedure fully to reassure our patients and find this helps with any anxious feelings or nerves. I had never in my 80+years had my ears cleaned. I was therefore apprehensive as to the treatment and did not fancy the syringe. This was a really wonderful experience with no pain whatsoever. I recommend that anyone bothered with wax has the same vacuum treatment, carried out by the most skilled lady, she was so good. I was staggered what was removed from my ears. There is no doubt I will have other visits if nessessary. Thanks to you Interhearing. You are now loud and clear.

A great service now local in Church Stretton.
Always a friendly, professional service with Inter Hearing. On previous visits to the NHS facilities where they operated in Shrewsbury, I challenged I.H. to operate thru Mayfair Community Centre, in Church Stretton with it's high proportion of retirees needing wax removal & other services. This now happens to the mutual benefit of all concerned. Just a pity the microsuction isn't normally available through the NHS!

I had expected to be able to hear clearly after the procedure but was told that it could take a few days. Unfortunately, after 4 days I'm no better off but £65 poorer

Thank you for taking the time to write a review following your microsuction earwax removal treatment in Reading. I am sorry to learnt hat your hearing has not fully restored after 4 days.
During your appointment, our nurse discussed that the bi-carb you had been using in your ear had left a thin film of wax on the tympanic membrane which would naturally come away, this does sometimes take some time.
You do have the option of returning to our clinic for a free follow up to see if there is any further clearing of wax to take place.
Please contact us if you would like to take up this offer.

I recently took the gentleman i care for, for ear wax microsuction at Warrington Jubilee Park. The procedure was explained clearly, and Josh the audiologist, was brilliant, totally understanding and very patient. I highly recommend Interhearing.
