I needed to obtain my HETAS certificate and initially noticed that the company had registered it to the wrong address. I contacted them by email, and they responded very quickly.

After hand off from Julia Bevan, Business Development Executive, HETAS Ltd., the final stages were handled by Billie Calland (she/her), Senior Schemes Officer, HETAS Ltd., who continued the process in the same very rapid fashion.
Submitted @ 15:41 Monday and Closed 11.:35 Thursday.
That is impressive.

Abbie Bennett from HETAS has always politely and professionally sorted out any issues that I have come up against with HETAS as an installer. Their tech and systems can be clunky to say the least with the shop platform a challenge! (the answer phone with its options is a total frustration). Trying to purchase things online impossible but each time I have needed a solution then Abbie has genuinely sorted me out on over the years! Trying buying a Data Plate or sthg over the phone I defy you! So thanks due to her for keeping me same and keep up the good work!

Abbie Bennett was so helpful to me as I was overwhelmed by the notification process. Having spoken to her on the phone and by email, she was vey professional, understanding and provided the assistance I needed.

I called the Schemes number and spoke to Abbie who was very helpful and managed to rectify the issue that I had very quickly to get us reinstated.

Whilst the objectives of this organisation are probably noble, the outcomes are poor for consumers. It is often difficult to check on whether a contractor is Hetas registered because they often operate under trading names which are different from registered names. And when you do find the contractor, they don't display the registration number on the listing so you can't check.
My recommmendations to Hetas is that they should not just list the names of businesses alone. They should list individuals by name and their registration number, and they should compel trade members to show their registration online and on their correspondence / invoices.

Julia has been absolutely fantastic in sorting all the paper work out for me for my renewal! Fantastic member of the hetas team! Thanks again!
