After securing a buyer, I instructed Home Legal Direct and so far the experience has been positive. I was initially quite nervous, but speaking with Warren helped calm my concerns. The process has been smooth up to now, and the welcome call today made things feel even more organised. The staff come across as attentive and customer-focused.

Very aggressive sales tactics, even slating other firms in the process. I was advsied by Charlotte to check trust pilot, I'm glad I did as the reviews are not favourable lately and the firm that I have decided to proceed with have a higher rating!

We're sorry that you were not happy with your experience. Having reviewed the conversation we would like to clarify that at no point did the sales agent make negative comments about any other firms. During the conversation the advisor noticed a significant difference between the quote you already had and our own, as such she recommended you get confirmation from them that everything was included before proceeding. She also recommended that you check their reviews, as part of your own due diligence before proceeding.
We appreciate that this may have come across differently to you, but it was not intended as a sales tactic. We would also note that at no time was any pressure applied to proceed with our service, and at the end of the call you asked for a quote to be sent over for consideration.
We are well aware that we are not the cheapest on the market, but we do add value in supporting our clients through the transaction, and providing security should their deal fall through or unexpected lender changes force a change of conveyancer.
While we are of course disappointed that you have chosen to proceed with an alternative provider we wish you all the best in your transaction .

Cheap, correspondence good, confusing.
Used as quote was way cheaper than quotes received from local Solicitors. Home Legal Direct are a Conveyancer broker firm, they allocate you a Solicitor to deal with your conveyancing needs. My initial Solicitor allocated for both sale and purchase were Aspire Legal, whom respond when you ring them, however will not respond to emails. My initial purchase that was mortgage free fell through and I have had to find an alternative purchase which a small mortgage is involved, this means I am unable to use Aspire Legal for my new purchase as my lender in not on their list of lenders. Home Legal Direct offer either a different Solicitors for the purchase or the option to transfer both the sale and purchase to a new solicitor, I opted to keep seporate Solicitors that does mean extra correspondence for myself between the two Solicitors however I didn't want to hold things up with the sale. Since been allocated a further Solicitor for the purchase The Law Partnership Solicitors these seem more responsive by email, although I have not had means to ring them yet. You can easily get confused over who you are providing what information and which payments as some of the payments you would normally pay to a solicitor are paid to Home Legal Direct to administer certain aspects such as search's. I wouldn't recomend for a one company preference, otherwise support and correspondence have been good.

I've just found a buyer and instructed Home Legal Direct. They have been so helpful so far. I have been a bit nervous about the process and I spoke with Warren over the phone who completely reassured me. Everything has gone smoothly and I've even had a welcome call today. Cheap for a reason
Nothing wrong with the original request. It was once I was allocated a legal team. Very full on and impatient and links to about 3 different apps all wanting same info. Not the one stop shop with a personal touch I thought it would be.

I am sorry to hear you're not happy with the initial onboarding of your transaction. Due to the nature of conveyancing there is unfortunately a lot of documentation that needs to be completed to get the ball rolling.
I can however confirm that Home Legal Direct are certainly not sending out reminders in the middle of the night as we appreciate most people are asleep.
Our team don't require you to fill in any forms, but are available throughout your transaction to assist should you need it.
