This is the second time that Delia and Kenny have looked after my cat, Holly. Again they have done a fantastic job in looking after both her and my home. Delia is the epitome of a cat lover and you can see how much she enjoys looking after your pet and does it so well! I can truly relax whilst away, knowing that Holly is in the safest hands possible. Kenny and Delia also looked after my home so well and the place was spotless on my return! Would love to have them back in the future for any sittings required. Thoroughly recommend!

It was so lovely to be able to go away without any worries at all. Bernie is meticulous, loving and goes over and beyond any expectation with animal care. I returned to happy dogs and a happy cat and a clean house. Bedding was washed and dried which was not expected or necessary. A charming man who I will hopefully have the pleasure of seeing again with the pets. Thank you 🤩

We cannot speak highly enough of Dawn and Simon. It was a long sit – 3 months – and we were never worried. They kept us informed and were always ready to step up and deal with any requests. And, most important to us, they were very popular with our dog, Missy, who was relaxed, happy and healthy. We have booked them again for another sit later in the year! Thanks also to Dave, who introduced Dawn and Simon, and organised everything so efficiently.

House and Home Sitters provided the perfect solution for looking after our puppy while we were away a couple of times recently. Dave Price was quick to respond and found a brilliant couple, Roger and Lisa, who could cover both trips. The puppy was very happy with them and was delighted to see them again for the second visit (as were we!). The house was immaculate, plants cared for, and it was good to have some updates for peace of mind while we were away. An excellent experience using the company all round.

We recently used the services of David and Lynda to care for our animals whilst away . All went well and we would use again. We had updates, which gave reassurance and enabled us to get on with our break with confidence that everything was being cared for at home .

Dave at House & Home sitters very quickly resolved a last minute dog sitting problem. Burnie arrived in time and happy looked after two very bouncy dogs and a cat, he also kept the house and garden in good order.

His contact with us was good too, little updates and pics, allowing us to enjoy our holidays without any worries.

After being let down by our original house sitters (arranged through another organisation) we found Dave at House and Homesittets through Google. He very quickly arranged for Sina to look after our house, 3 cats and dog within a couple of days of our departure. Sina was excellent. She soon bonded with our pets and left us feeling confident after a handover over dinner the night before departure. On return, we were greeted by healthy and happy pets and a clean and tidy house. What more could we want! We would have no hesitation in going back to House and Homesitters again.

An efficient reliable housesitting service introduced us to Bernie, an experienced housesitter, who was reliable and enthusiastic about the week in our house with our terrier. He relayed messages and kept us informed whilst cherishing his time discovering the local area on dog walks! Would definitely recommend .

We had a fabulous couple Roger & Lisa house sit for us over Christmas and New Year, we have 2 dogs, one old and one very young, so both needing slightly different care. Dave was very quick to get back to us and as always communication was excellent, listening to all our needs for a smooth house and dog sit at this particular time of year.
We could not have been happier with Roger & Lisa, they were brilliant with the dogs, kept to our routine and we came home to an immaculate house and very happy dogs, all was perfect!

House and Home Sitters Ltd recently carried out a sit for our labrador, 2 horses, 3 chickens and 5 ‘semi-wild’ outdoor cats. Although a complicated set-up, and not the best of weather, our sitters were undaunted, very professional in their outlook and looked after everything just as we’d hoped. We have now booked Wendy and Hugh again for 2026, knowing we can go away and relax without any worries as to what might be happening back at base!
Dave (the company owner) was very quick to respond to any queries or concerns we had prior to booking, showed flexibility for a ‘no fault’ cancellation when our dog snapped his cruciate (the day before our original booking) and we have no hesitation in recommending House and Home Sitters Ltd.

The response time was super quick and the individual who dealt with my query could not have been more helpful or informative. I was kept up to date with every step of the process and had every reassurance that I would be allocated an experienced sitter. The sitter turned out to be above expectations, was excellent in communication and extremely professional. An excellent company offering excellent service. Can't recommend highly enough

Very happy with the whole experience and would use again. Dave was very thorough and professional during the booking process. The sitter (Sandra) was great with both the cats and the house, she followed our detailed instructions and left the house in an immaculate condition.

David was very efficient and the whole process of finding a sitter was stress free for us. I had complete confidence that he would find someone suitable and reliable which was well placed as Richard was a very good housesitter. He communicated with us beforehand, was efficient in every way and most of important of all, took great care of our standard poodle and our house for ten days. Our dog was happy with him and he sent us great photo updates of their walks. He was not phased by our rather acute water shortage, and other inconveniences of life in the middle of nowhere. He even got up at 4am to make us a cup of tea when we got back from the airport! We went away knowing everything was in safe hands and that makes all the difference to a holiday.

We had never used a house/pet sitter before and were a bit nervous about leaving our 2 dogs and cat but from the moment Adina walked through the door, we knew they would be safe and well cared for.
Adina was very calm and confident with our dogs (who are very lively despite the fact that they are getting on a bit). We were sent WhatsApp messages every day by Adina (at our request) and were able to relax knowing they were happy.
When we returned home, the house was very clean and tidy, probably cleaner than when we left it, and we would not hesitate to recommend Adina and House and Home Sitters to anyone looking for pet/house sitting services and we have already discussed booking Adina again through the company.

David runs a first-rate service. We like to have house sitters looking after our home whenever we go away, and David has provided us with charming people to do this.
Wendy and Hugh have looked after our house on a couple of occasions and this summer, Peter came.
All of the sitters have been genuinely lovely people. Wendy and Hugh are a great couple who take care of the house perfectly. Peter was amazing - both a very interesting person and also very organised! IN fact, when we came home, not only had he got some provisions in for us (very welcome after a long journey) but the house was immaculate - tidier than it has been all year!
I cannot recommend David and his company highly enough and would be delighted to see Wendy, Hugh or Peter in the future.

Dave was efficient in setting up the sit and replied promptly to any communication. Bernie was very easy to deal with before and during the sit.
Bernie coped well with the expected challenges of a young dog and an old dog and also with the unexpected challenges of a heatwave and an infestation of ants! He was very reassuring about everything, left the house clean and the dogs had clearly had a great time with him. Allowed us to have a holiday with no worries or hassles from home.

From the start Dave was so helpful and efficient. We needed a House Sitter at very short notice but have many animals needing care, dogs, cat, hens, ducks and a pony. Not to mention being rather remote. Dave came up with the ideal person, Paulina. She is charming and so capable and delightful. She coped with everything in our absence and all the animals were in great form on my return
On a second occasion Wendy and Hugh came to house sit and they too were excellent. Wendy and I had had a chat on the phone beforehand and I could explain how things work here, being a working farm there are different priorities here. They were wonderful with all the dogs and puss cat too, who can sometimes be very offhand. They were great with Dolly the pony and the chickens and they said they had really enjoyed being here which was good to hear. I would most definitely recommend them, and in fact they are booked to come here again in the New Year.
Dave and HHS do an excellent service, matching the right sitters to the clients and I have no hesitation in recommending him and his team. Far and away the best Agency I have ever used.
