Steve and Erica were wonderful hosts, and I had a truly lovely stay at their beautiful home in Upshire. The house is very comfortable, peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Mynx and Smoke are lovely cats with very different personalities, and they were a real pleasure to look after. Steve had prepared everything very clearly in advance, including their feeding routine and all the practical details, which made the sit easy and enjoyable.

I felt very welcome and completely at ease in the house, and I had a wonderful time there. I would happily return and would highly recommend Steve and Erica to other house sitters.

Fees! If you have no record of cancellations you should not have to pay to confirm a sit. There is already a membership fee.

Dual sitter fee! If I depart on the 15th and start a sit on the evening of the 15th I’m not overlapping. Why is it that if I pay an additional fee to be a dual sitter suddenly overlapping is not a problem?

Very happy and will definitely stay a member and use the service. We were gone for 5 weeks and we came home to a very happy healthy dog, and a house in perfect order.

I recently joined Trusted Housesitters and the experience so far has been very positive. The information available in their website and platform has been very clear and allowed us to make an informed decision to purchase a membership and set up our Housesitter profile. The tips and help articles include helpful information which allowed us to secure our initial housesit in a short time.
The app is easy to use and responsive. I also appreciate the multiple options to recieve information via the app or email, or both. The value is good for the membership and sit fees, which we incur only when a sit is confirmed.
I believe the format and service provided by Trusted Housesitters allows for home and pet owners to put their trust in the process and the people who are vetted and applying for house sitting opportunities. I am happy to recommend, and have done so already, this service to friends and family. Thanks!

I've been with Trusted Housesitters for over 10 years. I think their prices are getting ridiculous. especially now being on a basic backage you have to pay an additional £9 per booking. I think it's pure greediness as my basic pavkage is already £179 a year. To upgrade to the full package you are looking at £300 plus. Starting to feel that it may not be worth it.

Great first time experience. In particular, filling out the questionnaire helped us think through what we needed to communicate, and what we were expecting from the sitter. Might want to change the questions a bit for an American audience (no “post” or “hob” here). Your suggested process for interviewing potential sitters was excellent, and also helped us figure out the best person for our particular needs. Well done.

I'm a big fan of THS I've been a member for about 3 years. Some of the many things I like:
Its mutually beneficial: I need a sitter/ they need accomodation
I can meet the sitter online before (I don't accept every first offer, there has to be a connection)
They water my plants (kennels don't do that)
I have premium and love that I can use the service anytime I need.
The 2 free Lounge passes are Awesome!
Customer service is Awesome too. (special shout out to Chiedza - thank you for all your help this week!)

Only negative is the BOT chat.

I have had some lovely experiences via TH over a 3 year period. So many lovely places to go in the world and a great way to travel if you are richer in time than money. I find the app sometimes glitchy although that may have improved since new app was launched recently. I would HOWEVER like to say though that the sitter cancellation plan as part of premium membership is quite misleading. The language on the membership page suggests they will pay up to $150/ day for replacement accommodation in the event of a petparent cancelling. When you look at the T& Cs it is all at their discretion, as a gesture of goodwill, has many conditions including the possibility that they will suggest an alternative sit instead of paying for accomodation. Read the Ts& Cs carefully if this piece is important to you!

By following the instructions given on the site I was able to attract a good number of possible sitters. Our first experience with house/cat sitting has been excellent. We will be doing more of this.

First time user so after a few hiccups got the swing of how everything worked. Very easy.

We've just completed our 4th extended sit with one exceptional couple, and we also had two extended sits with two different individuals. They have all been fantastic so far. We look forward to opening our home to future sitters who are just as caring, professional, and responsible as ours have been thus far. Thank you!

This app is a great deal for pets parents. For the “traveler” is the wrist business ever. I come to find that out after being sitting for over two years. Not only I get to work for free, but I also pay the company ….its hilarious.
