Does not replace units broken upon arrival
I purchased two XXL Sifting Litter Boxes from this company. While my first order went smoothly, my experience with the XXL Corner Sifting Litter Box has been a disaster. The product arrived damaged, with a broken carbon air filter casing, despite costing over $100.
Customer service's solution was a $5 refund and a suggestion to use waterproof tape to hold the broken piece in place. While I understand they can't ship replacement plastic parts separately, that doesn't excuse sending a damaged product. After being passed between multiple representatives, I still haven't received a reasonable resolution. It's been almost a week since I first reached out.
For a premium-priced product, I expected much better quality control and customer service.

Responsive company and great products…
Responsive company and great products for your furry babies! I purchased the stainless steel corner litter box with the top for scatter control. It’s so much easier to clean up after my kitties compared to traditional litter boxes. The stainless steel also keeps the smell contained better than any plastic litter box, and it wipes clean.
I also purchased 2 of the automatic air fresheners for the litter box area, as well as the dog kennel area. The two units keep each pet area smelling less like a “pet area,” and more like just another part of the house.
I highly recommend both, as well as all their other offerings!

I should have done my homework
I should have done my homework. It appears Furrbby is either incompetent or dishonest or both. I ordered a premium litterbox with express shipping and then, like others here, my order languished in "being prepared" limbo. I tried contacting the company three different ways (through their website, through customer service email and through PayPal) without any response at all. I'm left now with no recourse than to escalate this through the banks. What a disappointment. They're not at all what they present themselves to be. Even their "founders" seem to be complete fabrications. I'll revise this bad review if they send my order or give me my money back. But until then, my advice is stay away.
UPDATE 8/17/26: Over a week after purchase and four attempts to contact them, Furrbby got back to me (by some pseudonym'd email agent) to say that my purchase is out of stock and won't be available for 3 months! They are still promoting and selling the product on their website without any mention that it's out of stock (so buyers beware). They also offered me some other product (not the one I ordered) and that is not satisfactory. I am awaiting a full refund and will report here if/when they issue one.
UPDATE: 8/18/26. I filed a dispute with PayPal and Furrby issued a refund. And I appreciate it. It’s a shame that my experience with Furrbby was so terrible - they looked so good by all appearances. But that fact that they are taking orders without telling customers that they are out of stock is pretty stinky. Not replying to emails is unforgivable. A little digging and the company ‘founders’ and customer reps all look phony as their business address. A bucket of honesty and transparency would really help these folks. It’s not that hard.
UPDATE 8/22/26 Furrby has edited their response below to now say they have no record of any emails or PayPal transactions. That should disturb any potential customer. I, for one, have the receipts and they eventually refunded my purchase through PayPal. I don't know why they would lie like this. It seems they did the same to other customers (in this forum and elsewhere). Pathetic if you ask me.

I ordered two litter boxes. They never came. On my order page it stated “ preparing for shipping “. When I contacted customer service, Robert told me to wait a few days to see if they showed as their info said they had been delivered. No, they didn’t arrive , and mysteriously I can’t get in contact with them. I would NOT recommend this company.

XXL Litter Box A++++
My wife and I had been looking for a BIG litter box that would help with the smell, and we ended up finding Furrbby. We bought two of their XXL litter boxes and so far we have been super happy with them! They are HUGE, which is great for our cats, and honestly, we haven’t noticed any smell at all.
We also had a really good experience with their customer service. We ordered two litter boxes, but somehow four showed up. I reached out to let them know because we only ordered and paid for two, and I didn’t want to just keep something we didn’t pay for.
After looking into everything, Furrbby decided the best thing to do was have us donate the extra litter boxes to Saving Future Feral Cats. We were more than happy to do that, knowing they would go to a good cause.
Really impressed with the product AND the customer service. Everything worked out great, and I definitely appreciate a company that handled the situation this way.
Highly recommend Furrbby! 👍🐱

Creates More Work
Nothing really went wrong. Although the litter box works as advertised, I have concluded that is actually MORE work to use it than my normal scooping routine. Lifting the upper box Does sift out the waste, but the extra step of pouring the sifted litter into another container before refilling the the two parts is more of a chore than my normal picking routine, and a lot harder on my back. I will actually just end up recycling this very pretty litter box. As for the fountain I bought with it, once again, it LOOKED like a great idea, but I have yet to see my 2 girls have a drink from it. I keep 6 clean containers out for them, and they are fine with them, These boxes get a thorough screen sifting once a week, which rakes me about 40 minutes, top to bottom. Others may find a way to enjoy your litter boxes, but for us, we did not find ours useful.

Best thing ever
I've only had the box about a week, but it is the best thing ever! I'm so glad something like this is finally available. Our litter box has never been so clean and easy to keep.
I feel like those who are disappointed by it are not using the right litter. Obviously it's not going to work if you don't use the pine litter.
Love this thing.
The only thing I'd like it to have is the scoop holder on both sides rather than Just one side so it can be placed more versatile

XXL convertible Litter Box
My two cats took to the XXL convertible litter box immediately. I haven’t installed the door flap yet. I thought I’d give them a couple of weeks to get used to the new box before introducing the flap. My cats aren’t early adopters and I didn’t want to give them any reason to avoid trying it out. Even though, I scoop litter twice a day, I think they like this box because it is so spacious and they can always find a good spot to take care of business.

Awful litter box, and even more awful Customer Service
Absolutely, horrible litter box! I bought the sifting litter box and it does not sift whatsoever. I still had to scoop it. When I asked to return the litter box, they gave me the runaround basically telling me it never advertise that the litter would slide, which intern means it will never set. I said I’m not here to argue with you and I would like to just return the box and they kept giving you the runaround attacking me of what kind of litter I use. They refuse to give me the return I had to put in a dispute with my credit card. By all cost stay away from this company. Their product is awful and customer service is worse.

I purchased a XXL Corner Stainless Steel litter box for my 3 🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛. They get a new box every 2 years. I’ve noticed one cat wasn’t too hep with the sifter. It takes time for some. I had to order another pan which will fix our issue. Luckily there was a sale & this helped me since I’m handicapped & need to save . 🙏

2 of 3 cats use it all the time, so I bought another. Stainless steel is brilliant - doesn't smell, so, so, so easy to clean, even without the sifting tray. The plastic scoop is completely functional and generally eliminates the need to sift, but that option is always there. One cat flicks the litter out, so I'll lay it on a little heavier and see if that helps. Plastic, smelly, forever dirty litterboxes are SO over. Waited a looooonnng time for it to arrive, and didn't contact Furrbby, so don't know about customer service. The product is exceptional and I absolutely recommend giving your kitties a nicer toilet than what they've been using.
