I have been using Emergent…
I have been using Emergent (emergent.sh) for some time now and I am highly impressed. The application is stable, intuitive, and provided an immediate solution to our needs. It saves us a lot of time daily. I highly give them my recommendation to anyone looking for a professional and efficient tool.
The charge of credits is the main problem
My biggest issue with emergent is the extremely expensive charging of credits!,I have been paying 20$ /month for 4 months without using anything on the platform, and when I finally started using it to create a new app ,2 prompts after, they began telling me to charge more credits, and my app wasn`t even at 10% done. Very expensive for what they offer and awful experience overall. Please try to solve this problem,I am switching to Lovable.

Emergent is a con.
Emergent is a con.
It exists only so two Indian twin brothers owners can con their way to a fraudulent IPO and then cash out before everyone realises the con.
Fg 'Support' that is my disorganised uncoordinated incompetent AI bots that haven't got a fg clue what they are doing, running around like headless chooks.
The big red flag.
No Support Tickets. No Ticket IDs.
It is just a fg con job.
Rapacious gouging of Credits.

Decent backend
Decent backend, but terrible customer service and they think you're slow!
I am giving Emergent AI a 2-star rating, and that is solely because the core coding backend shows some technical promise. Everything else about this company is a nightmare. Their customer service is absolutely terrible, gaslight you about how the product functions, and refuse to take responsibility when things go wrong. Between a completely broken credit system that eats your money and support teams that do nothing but deflect and mislead, the platform is impossible to trust. Good tech doesn't make up for a business model that treats customers like an afterthought.

It seems they tried to steal my credit card details. I wouldn’t recommend having anything to do with this project. An AI slop generator for AI slop, made by AI scammers.

Emergent in 2026 works fantastic. Tell it what you want and within days you get an application that would have take months to program before.
Extremely Disappointing Experience With…
Extremely Disappointing Experience With Emergent AI
My experience with Emergent AI has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had with a company while building a website.
What started as a website that I had personally built and gotten into working condition turned into an endless cycle of back-and-forth communication, technical issues, system changes, and having to spend additional money addressing problems that I believe were caused by changes within their platform.
The biggest issue for me has been the lack of meaningful accountability. Instead of simply helping restore and correct issues with work that was already functioning, I have repeatedly been given explanations, instructions, videos, and recommendations that have resulted in even more time and effort on my end. At times, the communication has felt extremely impersonal and heavily AI-generated rather than like I was dealing with a company genuinely trying to understand and resolve my situation.
I have exchanged more than 80 emails and messages regarding these issues. I have documented the problems, explained what I built, explained what was working, and repeatedly asked for a practical solution. Yet instead of simply restoring what was already working and allowing me to continue improving my website, I have been presented with additional paid options and expensive packages for assistance.
One of the most frustrating parts is being told that an engineer or specialist can help—at an additional cost—when the problem is ultimately about restoring and fixing work that I had already completed. I don't need someone to rebuild my vision for me. I need the platform to stop breaking or changing the work I have already done and for the company to take responsibility when its own system causes problems.
The customer service experience has also been extremely disappointing. I have received responses that often feel scripted rather than genuinely responsive to the specific issues I am raising. When you have invested significant time and money into building something, the last thing you want is to feel like you are communicating with a system rather than people who are actually taking ownership of the problem.
I genuinely wish I could publish the entire history of my correspondence because the full story would speak for itself.
My advice to anyone considering Emergent AI is simple: do your research and understand exactly what happens when something goes wrong before investing significant time and money into your project.
For me, the biggest disappointment isn't that problems occurred—technical problems can happen with any platform. It's how those problems were handled afterward. I expected accountability, practical support, and a genuine effort to restore what I had already built. Instead, I experienced repeated frustration, additional costs, and a tremendous amount of wasted time.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Emergent AI.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT
ACTUALLY PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND STOP BOUNCING PEOPLE FROM AI AGENT TO CHATBOT! TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES ON PROPER INTERACTION! ACTUALLY ASSIST AND SUPPORT YOUR USERS! STOP ADVERTISING TO A REGULAR NON-TECH AUDIENCE IF KNOWLEDGE OF JARGON IS NECESSARY AND THEN CONDESCEND TO USERS WHO ARE NOT EDUCATED IN TECH!

Burning Money for a Useless Experience
Unfortunately I wanted to create a performance evaluation tool for my work, however the credit costs are exorbitant and it has created a broken app even with a proper prompt. It made me waste 115 credits for a unstable and useless application. Agent re-works again and again with burning whole credits. Unfortunately a horrific experience which it is just sugarcoated by influencers or social media. It even dont let me add the CSV table so it cannot properly work. Such a shame!

I've been really impressed with this…
I've been really impressed with this tool. I'm a Salesforce developer by trade, so understand databases, lookups, etc. but wanted to build a "wellness app" for my husband. I've spent a total of around $500 for the initial build, and don't expect to need more than the $21 / month cost going forward. The app is a full client frontend website, along with a therapist and admin backend, supporting 5 therapists and two locations. I've been blowen away by the quality and speed that I was able to build this out and plan to continue with Emergent (with a backup to GitHub of course!).
Sick and tired of their system charging W/O subscription
Sick and tired of their system trying to charge my card even though there is no active subscription and the bot keeps on sending emails that oh don't worry everything is okay as we have not been able to collect the money, so no harm done. What????
This has been ongoing for 15 days now. There is a daily attempt to charge my card which i have kept unfunded.
Do not use this tool, unless they fix their process issues and stop charging people unjustifiably.

Very disappointing experience
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Emergent for any kind of development. It was a complete waste of time and money. Clear instructions were repeatedly misunderstood, and features required several corrections.
The support was unprofessional. Agents introduced themselves with generic English names such as “Brian Tracy” or “Brian Taylor,” communicated poorly in English, and seemed to know very little about AI or the platform. The entire support experience felt more like spam than genuine customer service.
Using only the free credits from another AI development platform, I achieved more than I did with over 500 Emergent credits.

Emergent is a huge waste of money
Emergent is not good; avoid it. Over 800 credits were wasted because the AI model kept making errors and getting stuck in loops, even when it was set to a top model, and they refuse to issue a refund. I also purchased the Pro plan, but the month’s worth of credit was exhausted in about two days, contrary to their claims. They also promise early‑access features with the Pro plan, which are never provided. This app is a scam with dishonest support, so do not use it. It is a huge waste of money, and the worst possible service

Support and ai builders are amazing
Support and ai builders are amazing. They respond super fast and the ai builders are super effective and easy to use. I love their service! :) (im a real guy btw)
…avoid this company at all cost . Horrible platform, service, and customer service
I used this service with great intentions. But after paying $14 for very limited services, my credits ran out, which meant my app I released would no longer work. Which really sucked. But I thought my business with them was finished. But no. I just got blasted with a $20 charge I had no clue I was signed up for. And when I try to simply ask for refund, and taken of what ever subscription plan they scammed me into. They make it extremely difficult to do. Avoid this company at all costs.
