I’m wrong in naming this company I see I meant Calo Care.

I’m confused by the AI coach stating kcalories eaten being well above daily quantity - up to 4 times the amount stated on the calorie dial.
I’m new to this app and am only on day 10 of logging my intake.
The plus is ease to log meals.

Hi,recently I have started to use calo app...its good to track how much im eating in a day...i found few problems like if im having separate pic of everything which is in my plate and all things together in a plate.calo calculate different calories for the same things saperatly n together.
Secondly calo can't judge exact amount of food for example for a plate of rice full on the other hand only 3 small spoon s of rice give me same calories which is wrong. Thirdly calo can't recognise everything like today I had bitter guards with chicken,calo couldn't mention what is it.
Fourthly fix calories for house work or cooking etc...which is different person to person.

I have been a customer of Fresh Fitness Food (now rebranded as Calo) for several years, on and off. I kept coming back because there are some clear strengths, but unfortunately also some persistent issues that have not improved.

On the positive side, the logistics are excellent. The meals are delivered reliably every day, well packaged, and generally fresh. I have never had any issues with delivery, which is a big advantage and not something to take for granted. The overall concept is also good, and pricing feels reasonable for what is offered.

However, the main drawback is the extremely limited variety of meals. In practice, a large proportion of the menu revolves around chicken, often paired with rice or pasta, and frequently quite spicy. While there are occasional alternatives (meat, fish, or vegetarian), these are limited, sometimes come at an extra cost, and are not always available. If you are using the service daily, it becomes very repetitive very quickly. It is simply not realistic to eat chicken multiple times a day, several days a week.

Breakfast options are also quite restricted, mostly variations of granola and yogurt, often on the sweeter side, with little flexibility to adjust. Again, this becomes repetitive if you rely on the service regularly.

What was particularly disappointing was my interaction with customer service. After several attempts to raise feedback constructively, I was contacted by someone called Ruby. Unfortunately, the call was quite shocking. The tone was aggressive and defensive, and at times it felt like I was being talked over rather than listened to. I was simply trying to explain why, as a long-term customer, I was struggling to continue with the service and how they might improve it. I did not expect that kind of response, and it left a very negative impression.

In summary, the service has strong fundamentals: reliable delivery, decent quality, and a solid concept. However, the lack of variety and the way customer feedback is handled make it difficult to use consistently.

I hope the company improves its menu diversity and customer engagement, because with some adjustments, this could be a very strong offering.

Delivered my order to the wrong house 3 days in a row. Customer support is very slow & terrible.

Excellent quality and tasty recipes, making healthy easy.

In two weeks I’ve only had one meal I haven’t loved, the rest have been exceptional. I check my app way too often to see what I have the next day - great variety too.

I had planned on just being on the app while I’m on crutches recovering from a broken leg but it’s so bad I’m in no rush off the app. Keep up the good work Calo!

Not the best

After trying multiple healthy meal delivery subscriptions, Calo stands out as the best so far. The food tastes great, the service is excellent, and the customer support feels genuinely personal, which makes a big difference. I was especially impressed by the taste,easily one of the top options out there for me.

Very useful for shift workers like me! Keeps me feeling fuelled, healthy, and I don’t have to think about meal prepping.

Honestly it would be difficult to fault this company!
1. The food is excellent 99% of the time - the other 1% is just due to personal preferences but they obviously have to cater to everyone and 99% of the time I can find a meal that fits my diet and preferences.
2. The food is always good quality, never received anything fatty or grisly, etc. It always feels like the ingredients are fresh with no nasty additives.
3. The meal sizes are perfect and there are options to alter meal sizes for your own needs.
4. It is such a great value for money - there are other meal delivery companies our there charging much higher for poorer quality food and so I appreciate the accessibility of this healthy food.
5. They make it super easy to filter for and find meals that cater to dietary needs and allergies which is so helpful.
6. The customer service is great - always prompt and ensuring any issue or query gets resolved quickly and satisfactory.

Meals are ok whit taste but if you counting macro choosing custom macro then you have to edit your meals because the do for me in one week every things the same for another different meals but not hit the macros

Customer support is totally crap they respond quick but leave my problem unresolved for couple of days and at the end they told me because it is very late before the sending meals out and they send randomly

I’ve had a really positive experience with Calo overall. The food is consistently tasty and the macros are well thought out and high protein, which makes it easy to stay on track nutritionally. I like the fact that you can see individual ingredients and customise them. Their customer service is excellent, they’re responsive and genuinely seem to take feedback seriously.

I also really appreciate that their delivery is handled in-house and done daily, which makes the meals feel fresher and the whole experience more reliable than other services I’ve tried. They’re deliver straight to my door instead of my apartment lobby.

They’re a bit more expensive than some alternatives, but the overall quality and experience make it worth it for me. When they found out I’d recently had surgery, they even sent me a care package, which was a really thoughtful touch and honestly above and beyond what I expected.
