I received my camera, adapter, and lens on the 14th day after placing the order - everything arrived safe and sound.

I highly recommend Cotswold Camera to anyone who isn’t willing to pay the inflated prices we often see here in Europe. I’m very glad I found this shop!

I contacted Cotswold Cameras to request a return just two days after receiving the Nikon Camera and lenses. It then took several days for them to reply, at which point I was asked to provide full photos of the camera and lenses for valuation.

I sent all the requested photos last Friday and have since followed up twice, but I have still received no acknowledgement or response.

I would simply like confirmation that the photos were received and an update on the valuation and return process.

More than a week has now passed since I first contacted Cotswold Cameras to arrange the return.

I was initially skeptical about the prices and whether it was all legitimate, but everything was perfect—from the initial inquiry and the order itself right through to delivery. You really get the genuine product here at an unbeatable price. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the delivery was very fast, too. I’ve already placed another order! =)

Lowest price, box with reinforced corners, great service...

I ordered twice for Cotswold Cameras: first a 24mm 1.4 VCM and then an R6V with the 20-50 VCM
I cannot say anything but great things: both orders were in perfect conditions and fully functional.
A few extra details:
- when I ordered the 24mm, there was a pop up on the screen that mentioned delivery delays to Europe. The timing provided by Cotswold was on point and it took around 3 weeks for the lens to be delivered.
- when I ordered the R6V, the delay was resolved so it got delivered in a little over 2 weeks.

The package is well protected with reinforced borders and bubble wrap which was a good surprise, and it was delivered with tracking from UPS.

2 things to keep in mind:
- the products are imported so you will find the packages are opened (serial codes are probably different from lens/camera to package). It depends if you care about these things but to be honest with the amount of savings I think it’s still very worth it.
- camera language was only English or Japanese, I don’t mind because I always use English
- the camera came with an adapter to connect to the charger, which is a nice touch considering that, once again, the cameras are probably imported from Asia

Overall one of the best shops I found to buy imported gear, would definitely recommend

I found the Cotswold Camaras website by chance.
I had been looking for the Canon RF 70-200mm F/2.8L IS USM lens for a long time. The prices are significantly cheaper compared to Dutch suppliers.
I could hardly believe it, but after a lot of research and very positive reviews, I took the gamble and ordered the lens. I paid by credit card so that I was insured, at least.
Stated delivery time was approx. 2-3 weeks.
It is not possible to track your shipment via track & trace. You will only receive an email with tracking ref once the shipment has been received in the European distribution network.
This was a bit tricky, but an email to Cotswold Camaras was answered promptly within 1 day, which gave me confidence.
2 days later I received the T&T email and it was delivered the same day.
Everything was received in good order.
The lens is amazing, especially for that price. The warranty is 3 years and you must report it first, after which you receive instructions on what to do.
Super satisfied, and for my next purchase, I will definitely check out Cotswold Cameras first.

I have make two purchases with this company and I am happy with both. The prices they offer make camera gear more affordable. Just bear in mind that delivery will take about 15 working days (and they do advise you of this)so be patient ! I found their customer response time good and their staff both helpful and friendly. I recently purchased a Canon EOS R6 Mark III along with two additional lenses. I placed my order on August 9th and received the package in Paris on August 18th via UPS.

Everything arrived very well packaged and in perfect condition. The whole process went smoothly, with no problems at all. Very happy with my purchase and the overall experience.

I ordered a Canon camera plus lens which I received a Monday. The proces and communication was smooth and quick.

I’m based in Ireland. They had a great deal on camera body and lens. No tracking available after order but once arrived in Europe (France) 8 days later, had tracking with DHL. Took 13 days to deliver from order date in perfect condition. Would recommend.

I contacted Cotswold Cameras regarding a Canon EOS R1 body to verify if the menu included the Czech language before placing an order. While the responses were polite, the communication process was quite slow – often taking more than 24 hours to get a single reply. Furthermore, because their warehouse is automated with sealed stock, they cannot power on a unit to check language options before payment is completed. For international buyers on a tight schedule who need specific language confirmation, the combination of delayed email replies and lack of pre-purchase verification creates unnecessary risk and delay.

Great price, took a bit longer for the delivery but it's wel worth the wait.
