SCS Sequence of Events- Start to end.
We ordered two reclining chairs and a two seat settee on 28th September 2019.and we paid the required deposit.
Delivery was made on the 20th November 2019, unfortunately there was a small stain on the front of one of the reclining chairs and was declined acceptance.
On 2nd December 2019 and not having had any contact from SCS I phoned for an update on my stained recliner, good news SCS can deliver the chair on 4th December 2019.
On the 4th December 2019 the delivery was for the same chair complete with stain, once again deliver was not accepted.
Another two weeks went by with no contact or update from SCS so I phoned them (19th December 2019)."Yes we can deliver on 23rd December 2019" says the SCS delivery section, is this for the new chair customer service say they have ordered me? he could not confirm if this was correct, but put me through to customer services, YES they confirmed to me it was for a new chair.
On the 23rd December 2019 my recliner was delivered, alas it was my same stained recliner being delivered yet again.
I then spent one and a half hours talking to various department to try and get a reasonable and truthful solution to my dilema 
After no contact or update from SCS I phoned them on 2nd January 2020, onother lengthy call then ensued where I was informed that a technition had treated and removed the stain from my recliner and that they would deliver the chair on 4th January 2020.
On the 4thJanuary 2020 my reclining chair was delivered and to our great relief it was in prime condition and we accepted delivery.
In summing up my experience with SCS I would say the following : The SCS shop, not a problem in ordering the chosen items of furniture.
The customer care service, from start to the finish of this event SCS never once contacted me either by phone or e-mail to update me on
progress with my enquiries, dispite saying that someone will contact me soon!!. All of the contact with SCS was at my expense and time.
The delivery drivers were first class in their service to me and very helpful too.
This is not an experience I would ever wish to go through again.
