Abstract
Opisan je postupak za dobijanje simvastatina i njegovih derivata, gde se N-metilirnidazol upotrebljava za poboljšanje zaštite prekursor laktona i za poboljšanje reakcije aciilranja koja se koristi za uvodjenje željenog bočnog lanca na poziciju 8 heksahidronaftalinskog prstena.[A process for preparing simvastatin and derivatives thereof is described wherein N-methylimidazole is used to improve the protecting of the precursor lactone and to improve the acylating reaction used to introduce the desired side chain in the 8-position of the hexahydronaphthalene ring.
