Abstract

본 발명의 방부 조성물은 1,2-헥산디올, 카프릴릴글라이콜, 부틸렌글라이콜, 펜틸렌글라이콜, 에칠헥실글리세린, 루이보스추출물, 감초추출물, 몰약추출물, 자소엽추출물, 유카추출물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명은 화장품용 방부제 조성물은 화장품의 산패를 방지할 뿐만 아니라 유해성과 독성이 없기 때문에 피부에 자극이 없고 보습력이 우수한 화장품을 제조할 수 있다.

화장품용 방부제 조성물
본 발명은 화장품용 방부제 조성물에 관한 것이다.
화장품에 쓰이는 필수성분으로서 내용물의 산패를 방지하는 방부제 성분이 필요하다. 이와 관련, 전통적으로 화장품이나 생활용품용 방부제로 사용되어 왔던 파라벤(parabens) 계열의 화학물질들은 수년전부터 유해성 문제가 빈번히 거론되고 있는 상황이다. 게다가 각국에서는 발암물질 또는 생식기에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 화장품 함유성분에 대한 규제를 강화하는데 초점을 맞춘 화장품법을 제정하면서 화장품용 방부제에 대한 경각심도 새삼 고조되고 있는 분위기이다.
따라서, 유해성과 독성이 없는 대체 화장품용 방부제의 필요성이 고조되고 있으며, 자연스럽게 보다 안전하고, 파라벤을 대체할 수 있는 화장품용 방부제를 개발하려는 업계의 노력에도 한창 가속도가 붙어 있는 것이 현실이다. 또한 파라벤을 전혀 함유하지 않은 방부제를 내놓는 등 신제품 개발이 줄을 잇고 있다.
본 발명은 유해성과 독성이 없는 화장품용 방부제 조성물을 제조하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
또한 본 발명의 조성물은 방부효과 뿐만 아니라 보습효과도 가지는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명의 방부제 조성물은 1,2-헥산디올, 카프릴릴글라이콜, 부틸렌글라이콜, 펜틸렌글라이콜, 에칠헥실글리세린, 루이보스추출물, 감초추출물, 몰약추출물, 자소엽추출물, 유카추출물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
몰약은 성질이 평하며 맛은 쓰고본 발명은 유해성과 독성이 없는 화장품용 방부제 조성물을 제조하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
또한 본 발명의 조성물은 방부효과 뿐만 아니라 보습효과도 가지는 것을 목적으로 한다. 독이 없다. 결(結)과 어혈(宿血)을 파하고 통증을 멈춘다. 타박상, 뼈와 힘줄이 상하거나 부러져서 어혈이 지고 아픈 것, 쇠붙이에 다친 것, 매 맞아 생긴 상처, 여러 가지 악창과 치루를 낫게 한다. 또한 종독(腫毒)을 삭이고 갑자기 하혈하는 것을 멎게 하며 눈에 예장이 생기면서 어지럽고 아프고 그 둘레가 핏줄이 서는 것을 낫게 한다.
자소엽의 성질은 따뜻하고 맛은 매우며 독이 없다. 명치 밑이 불러 오르고 그득한 것과 곽란, 각기 등을 치료하는데 대소변을 잘 나오게 한다. 일체 냉기를 없애고 풍한 때 표사(表邪)를 헤친다. 또한 가슴에 있는 담과 기운을 내려가게 한다. 이러한 자소엽 추출물은 소염작용 및 종양 억제, 항알러지 효과가 있다.
유카추출물은 유카 뿌리를 물로 추출하여 얻어지는 물질로 품질 보존을 위하여 희석제 및 기타 식품첨가물을 첨가할 수 있다. 암갈색의 액체로 특이한 냄새가 있는 착향료로 사포닌 배당체가 포함되어 있어 물과 진탕하면 기포가 생긴다. 청량음료, 칵테일 등에 첨가하면 기포가 오랫동안 유지되며, pH 2~10에서 거품이 생기고 거품은 안정성을 가지게 된다.
상기 몰약추출물, 자소엽추출물, 유카추출물은 전체 조성물에서 각각 0.1~0.5 중량% 인 것을 특징으로 한다. 0.1 중량% 미만이면 상기 방부효과가 미미하고, 0.5 중량% 를 초과하면 피부에 자극을 초래하기 때문이다.
루이보스는 콩과 식물에 속하는 침엽수로 루이보스에는 카페인이 없고 미네랄이 풍부하게 함유되어 있어 차도로 활용하고 피부 건강에도 좋으며, 자외선에 노출된 피부에서 피부 노화의 원인이 되는 활성 산소로부터 피부를 보호하여 피부의 산화적 손상을 예방함으로써 피부 주름의 관리 및 완화에 도움을 준다.
감초는 해독작용, 숙취해소, 소염작용, 항암효과, 상처 치료, 피부기능 대사촉진 등의 효과가 있다.
상기 루이보스추출물, 감초추출물은 각각 0.1~0.5 중량% 인 것을 특징으로 한다. 0.1 중량% 미만이면 상기 피부 보습, 노화 방지 효과가 미미하고, 0.5 중량% 를 초과하면 피부에 자극을 초래할 수 있기 때문이다.
또한 본 발명은 상기 구성의 방부제 조성물을 포함하는 보습효과 및 산패 방지 효과가 뛰어난 화장품을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명은 화장품용 방부제 조성물은 화장품의 산패를 방지할 뿐만 아니라 유해성과 독성이 없기 때문에 피부에 자극이 없는 화장품을 제조할 수 있다.
또한 본 발명의 조성물은 방부효과 뿐만 아니라 보습효과도 우수한 기능성 화장품을 제조할 수 있다.

이하에서는 실시예와 함께 본 발명을 더욱 상세하게 설명한다.
실시예 1: 1차 실험
표 2의 기본 Base 에 표 1와 같이 방부제 조성물을 3가지(A,B,C) 타입으로 각각 0.8%씩 함유하여 실험하였다.
처음 루이보스추출물과 감초추출물을 넣은 이유는 보습제 중에서 카프릴릴글라이콜이 자극이 높은 것으로 나타나 자극 우려로 인해 자극 완화를 위해 각각 0.5%씩 각각 첨가하였다.

실험결과 도 1~6에서와 같이 1,2-헥산디올, 카프릴릴글라이콜, 부틸렌글라이콜, 루이보스추출물, 감초추출물을 포함하는 방부 조성물에서는 실험균들의 감소율 및 증식효과가 기준에 미치지 않았다.
실시예 2 : 2차 실험
상기 1차 실험에서의 도출을 토대로 각 항목의 함량 수정과 신규 항목(펜틸렌글라이콜, 에칠헥실글리세린) 추가하였다. 투입량은 기존과 동일하게 0.8% 투입하였다.
B는 몰약추출물, 자소엽추출물, 유카추출물 추가하였고, 기본베이스는 1차 실험과 동일하다.

2차 실험에서 추가된 추출물 3가지를 제외한 나머지 품목과 함량을 동일하나 수치적으로 차이를 나타내었다. 결론적으로 몰약추출물, 자소엽추출물, 유카추출물이 제품의 방부력에 도움되는 것을 알 수 있다.
실시예 3: 3차 실험
추가한 3가지 추출물의 함량을 0.3%에서 0.1%로 줄여서 실험하였다.

3) Fungi : Aspergillus niger (KCCM 11239)
3. 시험기준
접종 7일차에 Bacteria는 99.9% 이하 (3 Log 감소) Yeast, Fungi는 99% (2 Log 감소)의 감소율을 보여야하며, 접종 14일차까지 증식이 없어야 한다.
4. 실험 결과

*몰약추출물, 자소엽추출물, 유카추출물의 함량을 각각 0.1중량%로 줄여도 방부효과는 동일하게 나타났다.
실시예 4: 관능테스트
*상기 실시예 2 및 실시예 3의 방부제 조성물 및 표 8의 베이스를 포함하는 화장품을 제조하여, 20~50대 여성 30명을 선정하여 6개월 동안 사용하여 피부의 자극 여부를 테스트하였다.
아침, 저녁마다 1g씩 얼굴에 도포하여 흡수시키고, 피부자극 및 보습력을 측정하고 만족도를 조사하였다. (5. 피부자극 없음, 보습력 매우 좋음, 4. 피부자극 약간 느껴짐, 보습력 좋음, 3. 피부자극 보통임, 보습력 보통, 2. 피부자극 많음, 보습력 아주 조금 있음. 1. 피부자극 아주 많음, 보습력 없음)
대상자 30명 거의 모두 피부자극을 느끼지 못한다고 응답하였으며, 피부가 건조하지 않고 촉촉하게 유지되는 것을 확인하였다.(피부자극; 평균 4.8, 보습력: 평균 4.7 이와 같은 평가결과로 본 발명에 조성물은 피부자극이 없으면서 화장품의 세균증식을 억제하는 방부 효과가 우수하며, 피부보습도를 향상시키고, 사용자로 하여금 만족감을 갖도록 하는 탁월한 효과를 나타내었다.

Claims (4)

1,2-헥산디올, 카프릴릴글라이콜, 부틸렌글라이콜, 펜틸렌글라이콜, 에칠헥실글리세린, 루이보스추출물, 감초추출물, 몰약추출물, 자소엽추출물, 및 유카추출물을 포함하는 피부자극 완화 및 보습력을 가지는 화장품용 천연 방부제 조성물.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 몰약추출물, 자소엽추출물, 유카추출물은 각각 0.1~0.3 중량% 인 것을 특징으로 하는 피부자극 완화 및 보습력을 가지는 화장품용 천연 방부제 조성물.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 루이보스추출물, 감초추출물은 0.1~0.5 중량% 인 것을 특징으로 하는 피부자극 완화 및 보습력을 가지는 화장품용 천연 방부제 조성물.
제1항 내지 제 3항 중 어느 한 항의 방부제 조성물을 포함하는 피부자극 완화 및 보습력을 가지는 화장품.
