La présente invention concerne un jean pourvu de coutures (Pc) ou d'autres éléments (Ρ', P") destinés à marquer et définir définitivement le pli vertical avant (P), et éventuellement aussi le pli vertical arrière, de chaque jambe. Au niveau de chaque pli (P), le tissu (Α', A") des jambes du pantalon est plié de manière à obtenir deux parties correspondantes (Ρ', P") qui sont maintenues ensemble au moyen d'une couture (Pc) à proximité de la courbe externe (P) desdites deux parties correspondantes (Ρ', P").
