Abstract
Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren zur Kohlendioxidreduktion bei der Stahlherstellung wird das im Stahlherstellungsprozess entstehende Kohlendioxid in einem Verbrennungsschritt mit einem elektropositiven Metall umgesetzt und das dabei entstehende Kohlenmonoxid in den Stahlherstellungsprozess zurück geführt. Dieses kann dort in einem Direktreduktionsverfahren als Reduktionsgas dienen oder einem Hochofenprozess zugeführt werden. Auch das umgesetzte Metall kann zurück gewonnen werden, indem es aus seinen Oxiden oder Salzen elektrochemisch umgewandelt wird. Insbesondere wird für das Recycling des elektropositiven Metalls eine Form regenerativer Energie verwendet.
