Abstract

【課題】 工業的規模の七フッ化ヨウ素の製造において、ヨウ素とフッ素を原料として反応器に投入し、容易にかつ連続的に単一の反応器で効率的、安定的に製造する方法を提供する。 【解決手段】 ヨウ素とフッ素を原料として反応器に投入する際に、局所的な反応を抑制する為に、予め七フッ化ヨウ素が存在している反応器に、フッ素含有ガスとヨウ素含有ガスをそれぞれ供給し、反応器中のガスを循環混合させながら反応させることを特徴とする、七フッ化ヨウ素の製造方法を提供する。
