Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von flüssigem Roheisen oder flüssigen Stahlvorprodukten aus feinteilchenförmigem eisenoxidhältigem Material, wobei feinteilchenförmiges eisenoxidhältiges Material mit Hilfe eines Reduktionsgases in mindestens einer Vorreduktionsstufe vorreduziert und anschließend in einer Endreduktionsstufe zu Eisenschwamm reduziert wird, der Eisenschwamm in einer Einschmelzvergasungszone unter Zufuhr von Kohlenstoffträgern und sauerstoffhaltigem Gas erschmolzen und ein CO- und H2-hältiges Reduktionsgas erzeugt wird, welches in die Endreduktionsstufe eingeleitet, dort umgesetzt, abgezogen, anschließend in mindestens eine Vorreduktionsstufe eingeleitet, dort umgesetzt und abgezogen wird. Damit der Einschmelzvergaser mit einer höheren Leistung gefahren werden kann, der Produktionsprozess damit stabiler abläuft und bisher notwendige Teilverbrennungen in den Reduktionsgasleitungen zu vermeiden, wird vorgeschlagen, dass ein Mengenanteil des feinteilchenförmigen eisenoxidhältigen Materials über mindestens eine Vorreduktionsstufe und eine Endreduktionsstufe in eine Einschmelzvergasungszone und ein weiterer Mengenanteil des feinteilchenförmigen eisenoxidhältigen Materials direkt oder gemeinsam mit den Kohlenstoffträgern und dem sauerstoffhaltigen Gas in die Einschmelzvergasungszone eingebracht wird. Weiters wird eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens vorgeschlagen.
