Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Druckgiessverfahren zur Herstellung von Druckgussteilen aus metallischen Schmelzen. Bevorzugt soll ein Verschluss einer Öffnung (7) der Giesskammer (2) zu einem Angusskanal durch das zu vergiessende Material selbst erreicht werden. Dies erfolgt dadurch, dass der Giesskolben (2) beim Schuss nahe an die Öffnung 7) heranfährt und verharrt bis ein verbleibender Schmelzerest zumindest teilweise unter Bildung eines Pfropfens (4) erstarrt.
