Abstract

The invention can be used for medicine (addictology and anesthesiology) and for curing drug dependencies, phantom limb pain and pains of other origins. The inventive method for curing drug dependence consists in drug deprivation, arresting abstinence symptoms with the aid of anesthesia which is performed by inhalating a mixture of oxygen with the inert gas xenon in a proportion ranging from (50:50) to (30:70) during 1 to 5 minutes, 1 to 7 times per day during a time period ranging from 5 to 7 days, accompanied by curing by means of medicinal preparations and subsequent physiotherapy and psychotherapy.
