Abstract

L'invention est destinée à l'extraction d'aluminium et d'alliages d'aluminium à partir de déchets d'aluminium. L'essence de l'invention réside dans le chauffage des déchets sous la forme de laitier entre 760 et 880 °C, et leur traitement à l'aide d'un réactif favorisant la séparation d'oxydes du métal. Une fois séparé du bain de fusion, le laitier secondaire est extrait et le métal ainsi obtenu est déversé. Le réactif utilisé se compose de laitiers produits dans la production de l'Alpax synthétique, de la vapeur d'eau ainsi que d'un matériau contenant du carbone.
