Abstract

Use: extraction of aluminium and aluminium alloys from aluminium waste. The essence of the invention lies in heating the waste in the form of slag to 760-880 °C and treating it with a reagent which promotes the separation of oxides from the metal. Once separated from the molten melt, the secondary slag is removed and the metal thus obtained is poured off. The reagent used consists of slags produced in the production of synthetic silumin, water vapour and carbon-containing material.
