Application filed. March 29, 1916; Serial N o. 87,508.
To all LU/tom z'zf may concern.'
Be it known that I, HENRY C. HUBERT, a citizen of the United States, residingat St. Louis, in the city of St. Louis and State of Missouri, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Combined Trousers Hangers, Stretchers, and Creasers; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same. l
This invention relates to new and useful improvements in a combined trousers hanger, stretcher and creaserand has for its primary object to provide a device capable of removing all wrinkles from a trousersleg and which will support the trousers leg in a fla-t and smooth condition, whereby it may be brushed or cleaned and creased simultaneously.
Another object of this invention is to provide a front creasing bar, having a pivoted rear creasing bar secured thereto, whereby a crease may be made in the front and rear of the trousers leg.
A further object of this invention is to provide a novel means of securing the rear creasing bar to the front creasing bar, which will provide a tension means to the creasing bars at all times and further allow the creasing bars to be adjusted in relation to each other for accommodating trouser `legs of various sizes.
A further object of this invention is to provide the creasing bars of such construction that they will eiiiciently crease the leg portion of the trousers at the front and rear thereof, similar to the creases now made by ironing.
A still further object of this invention is the provision of a combined trousers stretcher and creaser of the above stated character, which will be simple, durable and efficient, andwhich may be manufactured and sold at a comparatively low cost.
Vith these and other objects in view as will become more apparent as the description proceeds, the invention consists in certain novel features of construction, combination and arrangement of parts as will be hereinafter more fully described and claimed.
