Abstract
The invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to the production of ferroaluminium in crucible induction furnaces. A method for secondary ferroaluminium melting in induction furnace provides additional charge of aluminum part of charge to the melt of ferrous metals, which is carried out in the two portions with the mass ratio of the additionally charged aluminum scrap in the first and second portions of 2:1. After melting of each portion the cleaning of the furnace walls and melt mixing is carried out. This increases and stabilizes aluminum absorption, metal yield and furnace production rate.
