Abstract
A method for correcting the metabolic shifts in recurrent non-diabetic ketonemia in the setting of nervous-arthritic anomaly of the constitution in the children provides for using the metabolic drug Thiotriazolin. For the first 5 days, the drug in administered intravenously dropwise in a volume of 2-4 mL of 2.5 % solution (5 mg/kg) at the rate of 20-30 drops/min (diluted in 200 mL of the physiologic saline). Later on, then tablets are taken at a dose of 10 mg/kg divided into two portions for 15 days. In remission, the drug is taken at the same dose in tablet form for 20 days twice a year.
