Abstract
A method for correcting cytokine profile of the blood in the patients with chemoresistant pulmonary tuberculosis comprises the conventional antituberculous chemotherapy supplemented with immunomodulator, namely glutamyl-cysteinyl-glycin disodium that is administered intramuscularly once a day in a volume of 2 mL of 3 % solution (60 mg) for the first ten days, then 2 mL of 3 % solution (60 mg) every other day for further 10 days and finally 4 extra injections at the same dose once a week.
