Abstract
A method for preventing contrast-induced nephropathy comprises the intravenous administration of sodium chloride solution together with Quercetin in an amount of 500 mg of Quercetin per 50.0-100.0 mL of sodium chloride solution (1 mL per of body mass). The solution mentioned above is administered in 30 minutes preceding transcutaneous coronary intervention and following the intervention for three days.
