SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of silicates and compositions of ceramic mixtures which can be used in making facing tiles. The ceramic mixture for making facing tiles contains kaolin, clay, marble powder, ceramic fragments, dolomite, ground quartz and liquid potassium glass, with the following ratio of components in wt %: kaolin 57.0-60.0; clay 10.0-15.0; marble powder 0.1-0.2; ceramic fragments 0.5-1.0; dolomite 0.1-0.2; ground quartz 25.7-27.9; liquid potassium glass 1.0-1.3.

EFFECT: high strength of articles.

Для приготовления керамической массы могут быть использованы каолины Просяновского, Глуховецкого, Алексеевского и других месторождений; глины Дружковского, Латненского, Трошковского и других месторождений. Компоненты дозируют в требуемых количествах, размалывают, готовят керамическую массу с влажностью 9-13%, из которой прессуют плитку полусухим способом.
