Abstract

FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: method of prophylaxis of physiological anemia in piglets involves administration to 3-7 days age animals ferroglucin at the dose 120-160 mg and catalyst of hemoglobin synthesis. Iodine is used as a catalyst which is administrated in body by implantation method at the dose 2-4 mg per animal. Method provides the necessary level of blood hemoglobin in piglets at the first days of life to avoid the development of physiological anemia and decrease the predisposition to other sicknesses. Известен способ профилактики физиологической анемии поросят, включающий инъекцию ферроглюкина в дозе 140 - 160 мг на одно животное (ветеринарные препараты: справочник. Под редакцией Д.Ф.Осидзе.
