Abstract

La presente invencion proporciona procesos para recuperar molibdeno y/u otros metales de valor (por ejemplo, uranio) presentes en soluciones acuosas de un amplio rango de concentraciones: de ppm a gramos por litro a traves de un proceso de extraccion por disolventes extrayendo el molibdeno y/u otro metal de valor de la solucion acuosa poniendola en contacto con una solucion de fase organica que contiene un acido fosfinico, reextrayendo el molibdeno y/u otro metal de valor de la solucion de fase organica poniendola en contacto con una solucion de fase acuosa de reextraccion que contiene un compuesto inorganico y que tiene una concentracion de amoniaco libre menor o igual 1.0 M, y que recupera el molibdeno y/u otro metal de valor separandolo de la solucion de fase acuosa de reextraccion. Cuando el molibdeno y/u otro metal de valor se encuentran presentes unicamente en bajas concentraciones, los procesos pueden incluir un paso de reciclado de la fase organica y/o un paso de reciclado de fase acuosa de reextraccion para concentrar el metal antes de recuperarlo
