Definitions

  • the invention relates to a fusible sheet pile lock sealing tape for civil engineering, engineering and sewer construction, a process for its Production and a method for laying the tape on a sheet pile.
  • Meltable bitumen sealing tapes for road, underground, high, engineering and sewer construction are manufactured in the factory and provide preformed machines thermoplastic strip profiles of different cross-sections, which are essentially consist of bitumen or bitumen modifications as binders.
  • This For example, additives of plastics, elastomers, plasticizers, Contain fibers and mineral fillers.
  • DE-U 77 28 361 describes a laying device for self-adhesive or fusible Sealing tapes described, with no further details on Structure of the sealing tapes are recognizable.
  • the sheet pile lock is usually partially or completely provided with a bitumen-containing lock sealing compound, which is specially designed for is prepared at the construction site or in the sheet piling manufacturing plant. This, pasty mass solid at room temperature is heated in a cooker and still hot inserted into the sheet pile lock.
  • a bitumen-containing lock sealing compound which is specially designed for is prepared at the construction site or in the sheet piling manufacturing plant. This, pasty mass solid at room temperature is heated in a cooker and still hot inserted into the sheet pile lock.
  • overheating problems, particularly improper handling. This will improve the quality of the sealing compound considerably impaired. Since the work on site is usually from Problems of uniformity arise from this the application of the potting compound in the sheet pile lock and Health and safety problems due to burns.
  • the Use of the sealing compound with a separate boiler and Associated mixing tool on site extremely expensive.
  • WPIDS Abstracts: Ref .: 89-018575 according to JP-63293216 A describes one Sliding layer made of asphalt bitumen with a softening point of 57 to 73 ° C and a penetration level of 70 to 90 on one side of a Sheet pile is applied.
  • a protective layer of asphalt-impregnated paper a thickness of 1.0 mm is applied as a sliding layer, the end faces the sliding layer and the protective layer with a butyl rubber or a Urethane rubber are sealed.
  • ref .: 88-238790 describes one according to JP-63171686 A.
  • Sheet pile with a thick layer of urethane resin, which is colored with a thin one Urethane layer is provided, wherein the colored urethane resin layer to the Ends and the sheet pile locks.
  • the main object of the present invention is therefore sheet pile locks to be provided with a seal against penetrating groundwater, the seal also used as a lubricant for stones or similar hard material, which prevents penetration into the sheet pile lock should also be used to reduce friction on sandy soils should serve to tilt the sheet piles when ramming or pressing prevent.
  • the particular object of the present invention is a bitumen sealing tape for use in sheet pile locks To make available.
  • this object is achieved in a first embodiment with a meltable bitumen sealing tape for civil engineering, engineering and sewer construction made of polymer-quenched bitumen, comprising at least one sided on the Bitumen-containing enamel coating applied to the surface of the tape with physical properties that differ from the bitumen sealing tape, solved.
  • the sealing tape according to the invention remains after pressing with a Wood / metal spatula or another suitable tool in the sheet pile lock.
  • the invention is based on the sealing tape if necessary with the help of a gas burner in the castle melt down to avoid laying problems.
  • 1 describes a typical composite structure of two sheet piles 1 and 1 ', which are connected to each other by means of sheet pile locks 2' and 2 ". By ramming or pressing on the top of the sheet piles 1, 1 ' these are usually driven into the ground one after the other.
  • a sheet pile lock 2 is shown in detail, in which an inventive Sealing tape 3 is introduced.
  • FIG. 4 shows a sheet pile lock sealing tape 3 according to the invention shown, which is provided with a release paper 4.
  • the enamel coating, between the actual meltable sealing tape and the Release paper is not shown here.
  • the invention enables the provision of a sealing tape that if necessary with an assembly aid / laying aid already in the factory is equipped and at any time of the year without aids such as Primer / primer pressed into the sheet pile lock and in it can be melted down.
  • the melt coating consists of polymer-modified bitumen conveniently from an at least one-sided coating of the Sealing tape, which mainly consists mainly of bitumen.
  • Such materials are known to the person skilled in the art from the prior art Road construction well known.
  • the thickness of the enamel coating is not critical.
  • the Layer should be applied as thinly as possible. Particularly preferred in The meaning of the present invention is to provide the sealing tape with a Equip melt coating, the thickness of 0.1 to 2 mm, in particular 0.2 to 1 mm.
  • the material of the bitumen sealing tape differs from the bitumen-containing enamel coating.
  • the bituminous enamel coating has a higher elasticity, in particular an improved cold bending ability, an increased Cone penetration and an increased resilience compared to Has bitumen sealing tape.
  • the Melt coating a cold bending capacity according to DIN 52123 of -20 ° C has, while the cold bending capacity of the sealing tape +/- 0 ° C. should be. This allows the sealing tape to work and to be laid at temperatures up to about 0 ° C.
  • the cone penetration follows BS 2499 the melt coating at least 60 to 140 1/10 mm and the Cone penetration of the sealing tape 20 to 50 1/10 mm with the stipulation is that the difference in the values of the cone penetration is at least 20 to 60 Is 1/10 mm. This ensures that the melt coating better at existing bumps in the sheet pile locks hugs.
  • bitumen sealing tape and the bitumen-containing enamel coating can also be set, for example, by choosing different bitumen.
  • bitumen sealing tape from a polymer-modified bitumen with a relatively high Provide proportion of fillers and possibly fiber components.
  • the same Starting bitumen for the bitumen sealing tape and bituminous ones Melt coating the mineral content lower, and especially that Polymer content in the bitumen-containing enamel coating is higher than in Bitumen sealing tape.
  • Particularly preferred in the sense of the present Invention is a sealing tape in which the bitumen-containing Melt coating consists of 60 wt .-% to 93 wt .-% bitumen.
  • the geometric shape of the sealing tapes is essentially due to the locks of the sheet piles to be sealed. Particularly preferred in For the purposes of the present invention, semicircular, rectangular or triangular cross sections are therefore which press particularly well into the sheet pile lock to let.
  • the bitumen-containing enamel coating can be done in different ways be applied to the sealing tape. Since already in the state of the Technology used release paper is provided, which contains the bitumen Melt coating covers, it may be appropriate, the inventive Manufacture sealing tape by first Apply enamel coating to a release paper and then the sealing tape on the back of the enamel coating.
  • Another embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for laying a sealing tape according to the invention in one Sheet pile lock.
  • the sealing tape is removed of the release paper, if any, by pressing to fix it brought.
  • the sheet pile lock and / or the sealing tape with a Warm gas flame are also in the sense of the present invention preferred, the sheet pile lock and / or the sealing tape with a Warm gas flame.
  • the sheet pile locks should be clean and dry. Adherent Dirt residues are particularly to be cleaned with a wire brush or compressed air remove. Moist locks can be dried with hot air.
