Claims (12)
1. Dekodningssystem til anvendelse med en lægemiddelafgivelsesanordning (100), der har en lægemiddeldosis-vælgemodus og en lægemiddeldosis-afgivelsesmodus, hvor dekodningssystemet omfatter: en første sensor (212), der er konfigureret til at læse kodet information fra en første drejbar komponent (500) af en lægemiddelafgiveIsesanordning; en anden sensor (214), der er konfigureret til at læse kodet information fra en anden drejbar komponent (400) af en lægemiddelafgivelsesanordning, hvor den anden sensor omfatter en optisk sensor, der er konfigureret til at blive rettet mod den anden drejbare komponent; og en processor (202), der er konfigureret til: at modtage signaler fra den første og den anden sensor; at bestemme ud fra de modtagne signaler at lægemiddelafgivelsesanordningen er i en lægemiddeldosis-vælgemodus, hvis der registreres en ændring i læsningerne fra den anden drejbare komponent og ingen ændring registreres i læsningerne fra den første drejbare komponent; og at bestemme ud fra de modtagne signaler at lægemiddelafgivelsesanordningen er i en lægemiddeldosis-afgivelsesmodus, hvis der registreres en ændring i læsningerne fra den første og den anden drejbare komponent.
2. Dekodningssystem ifølge krav 1, hvor processoren er konfigureret til at bestemme, ud fra signaler modtaget fra den første sensor, en lægemiddeldosis, som er blevet afgivet.
3. Dekodningssystem ifølge krav 1 eller krav 2, hvor den første sensor omfatter en optisk sensor, der er konfigureret til at blive rettet mod den første drejbare komponent.
4. Dekodningssystem ifølge krav 3, hvor den udvendige overflade af den første drejbare komponent er tilvejebragt med et spor (508), der omfatter en sekvens af kodede billeder, og hvor den optiske sensor er konfigureret til at blive rettet mod sporet for at læse de kodede billeder.
5. Dekodningssystem ifølge krav 1 eller krav 2, hvor den første sensor omfatter et array af en eller flere kontakter, der er konfigureret til at gå i indgreb med den første drejbare komponent.
6. Dekodningssystem ifølge krav 5, hvor en udvendig overflade af den første drejbare komponent er tilvejebragt med en flerhed af spor (508), som sammen danner en koder, hvor hvert spor omfatter ledende segmenter og ikke-ledende segmenter, og hvor hvert spor er konfigureret til at gå i indgreb med i det mindste en af den ene eller de flere kontakter.
7. Dekodningssystem ifølge krav 1, hvor en udvendig overflade af den anden drejbare komponent er tilvejebragt med et spor (404), der omfatter en sekvens af kodede billeder, og hvor den optiske sensor er konfigureret til at blive rettet mod sporet for at læse de kodede billeder.
8. Dekodningssystem ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor processoren er yderligere konfigureret til at bestemme, ud fra signaler modtaget fra den anden sensor, en lægemiddeldosis, der er blevet udvalgt ind i lægemiddelafgiveIsesanordningen.
9. Lægemiddelafgivelsesanordning, der omfatter et hus (104), som holder dekodningssystemet ifølge hvilke som helst af kravene 1 til 8.
10. Lægemiddelafgivelsesanordning ifølge krav 9, hvor lægemiddelafgivelsesanordningen omfatter den første drejbare komponent og den anden drejbare komponent.
11. Dekodningssystem ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 8, hvor dekodningssystemet er en del af en supplerende anordning (116), der er konfigureret til at blive fastgjort til en lægemiddelafgivelsesanordning (100).

Fremgangsmåde til anvendelse af et dekodningssystem, der omfatter: at modtage et signal fra en første sensor (212), der er konfigureret til at læse kodet information fra en første drejbar komponent (500) af en lægemiddelafgivelsesanordning (100); at modtage et signal fra en anden sensor (214), der er konfigureret til at læse kodet information fra en anden drejbar komponent (400) af en lægemiddelafgivelsesanordning; og at bestemme at lægemiddelafgivelsesanordningen er i en lægemiddeldosis-vælgemodus driftstilstand, hvis der registreres en ændring i læsningerne fra den anden drejbare komponent og ingen ændring registreres i læsningerne fra den første drejbare komponent, eller at bestemme at lægemiddelafgivelsesanordningen er i en lægemiddeldosis-afgivelsesmodus driftstilstand, hvis der registreres en ændring i læsningerne fra den første og den anden drejbare komponent.
