Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en fremgangsmåte og et anlegg for varmebehandling av tørrstoff som inneholder titan og eventuelt ytterligere metalloksider, i hvilken finkomet tørrstoff varmes til en temperatur som ligger mellom 700ºC og 950ºC i en reaktor med fluidisert bed (1). For å forbedre energiutnyttelsen foreslås det å introdusere en første gass eller gassblanding fra undersiden gjennom et gasstilførselsrør (3) inn i et blandekammer (7) i reaktoren (1), hvilket gassforsyningsrør (3) i det minste tildels er omgitt av et stasjonært ringformet fluidisert bed (10) som fluidiseres ved å tilføre fluidiseringsgass. Gasshastighetene til den første gassen eller gassblandingen så vel som fluidiseringsgassen for det ringformede fluidiserte bedet (10) justeres slik at partikkel-Froudetallene i gasstilførselsrøret (3) er mellom 1 og 100, i det ringformede fluidiserte bedet (10) mellom 0,02 og 2 og i blandekammeret (7) mellom 0,3 og 30.
