ZAP is scamming lifetime users
Effectively a scam at this point.
For Lifetime servers, they have told me that their old panel will NOT even retain its current functionality for the next 5 years.
In my correspondence with them, they keep phrasing it as "We don't even know whether it will possible to login or restart you server with the old panel in 5 years" --> that's effectively saying the same thing as saying "We don't really care if it remains minimally functional or not - we are happily here to scam you"
This means lifetime-users will not even be able to login to their old panel - which is a REQUIREMENT from ZAP hosting to not lose access to your lifetime server (they delete your server if you don't login every 3 months).
Do you all see how this is a scam? They claim it is "voluntarily" to switch to the monthly ZAPX subscription for lifetime paid users - but you are effectively "blackmailing" users by saying that "you don't know if the old panel can even be logged into or stays functional for the next 5 years".
What a gigantic SCAM!

There is currently no obligation to migrate. A move to ZapX only happens if you start and confirm it yourself. Lifetime servers keep running in the current panel without a Pass and without a monthly fee, and that panel still receives security updates and bug fixes. The Pass only applies after a move to ZapX and covers new features that cause running costs, such as AI, the app, backups and integrations.
To be completely clear: you can stay on the current panel exactly as it is today, with no changes to your Lifetime servers, receive security and bug fixes, and you are not obligated to move. ZapX and Lifetime Service

Their decisions regarding ZapX appear questionable.
They are converting servers already paid for into a subscription-locked arrangement.
For now, they claim migration is optional, yet in 99.9% of cases with similar shifts, users are eventually moved—perhaps in several years—to a new panel and compelled to pay a monthly fee.
They suggest it is not behind a paywall, but it effectively is; our data may remain, but the servers we purchased become unusable storage boxes from which extraction requires payment.
This is simply ridiculous, and I have heard a few companies discussing a joint lawsuit against Zap Hosting if Zap Hosting forces them into a subscription for lifetime service they already paid for.
I hope this lawsuit will happen in that case.
Do not use zap hosting for lifetime service, I can’t suggest it to anyone - even to my enemy.
UPDATE: (26/10/26)
On top of my previous review related to the lifetime service, I'd like to add that lifetime server owners are now being promoted to migrate, both via emails that result in at least 2–3 promotional messages being sent to us (which look like typical advertisements), and via a large banner on old panel, that cannot be hidden as of now, which is highly disruptive on mobile devices.

Lifetime Server turned into subscription
I bought lifetime servers expecting a one-time payment. Now, if I have more than the free tier allows, the extras stop working unless I pay a monthly subscription. That isn't lifetime anymore.
Worse, IPv6 and snapshots were promised long before Zapx was mentioned. Customers waited years for them, and now they're finally here, but locked behind a paywall.
And for a company asking for a monthly subscription, the uptime isn't great, and I can't trust that my data is safe with them. A subscription should come with reliability, not just restrictions.
Lifetime buyers deserve better than having their purchases and long-promised features held hostage.

There is currently no obligation to migrate. Your lifetime servers keep running in the current Customer Panel without a Pass and without any monthly fee. The ZapX Pass only applies if you decide to move to the new platform yourself. If you do move and a server is not covered by your Pass, it is locked rather than deleted: your data stays stored and the server can be reactivated with a Pass at any time.
Your points about IPv6, snapshots and uptime are fair feedback, and reliability matters a lot to us.
To be completely clear: you can stay on the current panel exactly as you are today, with no changes to your lifetime servers, and you are not obligated to move. The control panel gives me nearly complete control
I purchased a lifetime VPS from ZAP-Hosting, and overall I am completely satisfied with the service and experience.
The control panel gives me nearly complete control over my server. One of the best features is that I can reinstall or switch operating systems whenever and as many times as I want without any hassle. Server performance and stability have been very good so far.
The only minor thing I wish was supported or enabled is Nested Virtualization, which would allow running local virtualization or Android emulators directly inside the machine.
That said, considering the lifetime deal, pricing, flexibility, and overall quality, I am thoroughly happy with my purchase and definitely recommend ZAP-Hosting!

Unacceptable Service & Non-Existent Support – Pending Order & Ignored Tickets
I am extremely disappointed with ZAP-Hosting and cannot recommend this company to anyone. The service and support quality are completely unacceptable.
I placed a VPS order over 5 days ago. Payment was taken immediately, yet the server remains stuck in "pending" and has never been created. I have tried reaching out through every available channel—sending emails and opening over seven support tickets over the past few days—and I have received zero responses.
I experienced similar issues with a previous VPS I owned with them, where tickets were also completely ignored.
Taking money instantly while failing to deliver the service or even respond to customer inquiries is terrible business practice. Very bad service, non-existent customer support, and a complete waste of time and money.
