Really poor customer service

Really poor customer service. Bought 2 tickets which were listed as regular standing but turned out to be seated. Raised an incident to get my money back as the seller admitted she listed them incorrectly and agreed to a refund. This was 4 days ago and I still haven’t heard a thing back from TicketSwap. No contact number available and the chat takes you through to an AI bot. Frustrating when the event is soon and it’s not clear if/when I’ll get my money back or if the seller will receive the payout and I’ll be left out of pocket with no tickets.

Incorrect handling of multiple tickets… tickets sold at half the requested price !

Incorrect handling of multiple tickets in one document - tickets sold at half the requested price !
TicketSwap pretends to have automatic ticket split in place (for single QR code per page, ie my situation) and is calculating an incorrect cap price "per ticket" which lets you believe that the split was performed correctly.
In the end, both tickets were sold within 1 second at the price of a single ticket. No ways to correct their mistake or cancel the sell. Online chat support provides standard replies with commitment to review the case within 5+ working days, ie past the event date. There is no trace / email copy of the support chat and no means to recover it
Be warned...

Worst costumer service I've ever experienced

Writing for the second time here because I've found out that's the only way to get an answer.

It's been a month and a half, and I still have no money back. They only responded after I left a bad review on Trustpilot. They then said I'd be given priority, but ghosted me again.

Interesting fact about this company: they ask you for ridiculous evidence. In my case, they sold me the wrong ticket, and I had to buy a new one to still be able to attend. Instead of just refunding me for their mistake, they made me send proof that I had bought the replacement ticket - as if I gave up going to the club at all would have meant I had no right to get my money back......

Complete nightmare. Avoid selling here!

I used to love TicketSwap for its streamlined buying process, but selling on their platform was a grave mistake. I sold a ticket a month before an event and received my payout. A month after the event concluded, TicketSwap arbitrarily invalidated the sale and demanded I return the money—clearly a glitch in their system.
Trying to resolve this has been impossible. Their customer service is a brick wall of AI agents. After failing to understand the issue, the bot promised to escalate my case to a human specialist. Instead, I’ve been completely ghosted. The app has locked me out of opening new chats, no one replies to emails, and I am now receiving automated legal threats for a mistake they made. Zero support, zero accountability. Avoid at all costs.

I purchased these tickets 8–9 months…

I purchased these tickets 8–9 months ago and received them immediately after the purchase. However, a few days before the concert, I received a text message from Ticketmaster informing me that my seats had been changed and that the new tickets had been sent to the original ticket holder (the seller).

At the same time, my Ticketmaster account showed that my original order had been cancelled. I contacted customer support immediately and explained the situation, but I never received a response from either the seller or the support team. This caused me a great deal of stress, as I had no valid tickets for an event I had purchased months in advance.

I contacted support multiple times, but nobody responded, helped me, or provided the replacement tickets. On the day of the concert, I had no choice but to purchase new tickets in order to attend the event.

As I never received the replacement tickets that I had paid for and had to buy new ones because of this failure, I requested a refund after the event had already passed. However, nobody ever responded to my refund request either.

This was an awful experience. I feel like I was simply cheated, even though I was promised a 100% guarantee. I do not recommend this service. Do not make the same mistake I did.

No tickets no refund no comunication NOTHING

I bought tickets to Bruno Mars through TicketSwap. Before this, I had never experienced any problems with them. However, when an issue did arise, the way they handled it was really disappointing. The seller cancel the transfer. They did not do anything to help me. No real person has contacted me since. After I left a one-star review on the App Store, an AI chatbot sent me a message asking if I still needed help and assuring me that someone would get back to me. Then they disappeared again.
They even block my chat. It is almost one mont but NO ONE has contacted me. Please if someone has the same expirence. Let complaint together to the European Consumer Organisation. We can not let them rob our money like this. NEVER AGAIN.

TicketSwap Rip-Off

I listed 2 tickets on TicketSwap for €50 each. When they sold I only got €85.50. The fee was meant to be 5% (€5). When I queried it (through their robot manned helpdesk) I was told that the buyer paid €100 but had their fee deducted from that price. So, basically it appears that I paid my fee and the buyers fee. I again queried this with their robots as I had specified that I wanted €50 for each ticket on the listing. I was told that my query would be passed on to someone to investigate, and that they would get back to me within 2 days. They didn’t, and I’ve asked for an update 3 times now without any response. A total rip-off. I would not use this facility again and would advise others to be very wary.

Very poor experience as a seller.

Very poor experience as a seller.

I sold two tickets through TicketSwap for Metallica in London. The tickets were listed as “Pitch Standing,” and I never described or sold them as “Snake Pit.” After the buyer received the tickets, he opened a dispute because he had assumed that “Pitch Standing” meant “Snake Pit.”

The dispute has now been open for more then 10 days, the concert has already taken place, and I still have not received a clear answer from TicketSwap. I was also told that I would receive a response within 24 hours, but that deadline has passed with no proper update or explanation.

My payout is still affected, even though I have asked TicketSwap to confirm whether the tickets were scanned/used at the event, what evidence the buyer has provided, and which specific rule they rely on if they are delaying or withholding my payout.

As a seller, this is very concerning. A buyer’s assumption about a ticket category should not be enough to delay a seller’s payout without clear evidence and a written explanation, especially after the event has already taken place.

At the moment, I feel TicketSwap has handled this case poorly and without transparency. I am still waiting for a proper response and resolution.

Horrendous customer service - just no response except from AI. Never again!

I was sold a ticket that had an age restriction attached to it. However, this was not l noted at the time of sale. It's been over 2 weeks, and even with the seller's agreement to refund the tickets, we still have not received a single thing, only an AI response from ticketswap. After bringing complaints about the length of time it is taken to respond to customer service queries. I am still get a 'we will be back to you in 48 hours'.

Hi Sharon,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly sorry for the frustration this situation has caused and for the time it took us to get back to you.

We understand how disappointing it is to receive a ticket that does not match your expectations and then have to wait for an update. At the moment, we are experiencing a particularly busy period due to the large number of festivals and events taking place, which has unfortunately led to longer response times than usual. While this is not the level of service we aim to provide, we want to assure you that we never leave cases unresolved.

We have reviewed your case and can confirm that your refund has now been processed.

We sincerely apologize for both the delay and the inconvenience this situation has caused. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to reply to your existing conversation with us, and we'll be happy to help.

Kind regards,
Team TicketSwap
