Ongoing data GDPR breach where a manager sent my personal data to another customer, didn’t notify me and tried to cover it up. When confronted the response was “it’s ok she’s a good customer of ours”. No accountability, this is currently going through their GDPR team.
Given a courtesy car that was absolutely filthy, including fingernails in the cup holders and dirty shoes in the boot, the excuse was they didn’t have time to clean it before giving it to me.
Harassed all day to bring the courtesy car back with 5 hours notice on a work day or the insurance would run out, no prior notice of this, when returned, we were handed the keys to our car, opened the door and they hadn’t even put our car back together, parts scattered over the seats and not safe to drive. Mind you, someone had pulled that car round the front for us to collect, and assumed that was an acceptable condition to return a customers car.
I dealt with Ellie the sales advisor, we had to fight for communication from and had to constantly chase for updates whilst our car was there, told she would call us back which never seemed to happen. However she was hot on communication for the vehicle return, despite the fact they hadn’t even bothered putting ours back together.
When we returned the courtesy car, as we walked away she shouted to her colleague “there you go, see, I’ve got the keys back to your car!” It was clear it wasn’t an insurance issue, the management just wanted their car back.
Disgusting service, no regards for data protection, no accountability, and Audi Tamworth are the soul reason we no longer own an Audi.
If you can go somewhere else I would advise you do that, Audi UK customer services assure me the service is better at other branches, however, that’s not enough to keep with with this “premium brand”.
Everything was made easy and I was well looked after. Receptionist and customer service lady were very good.
Professional service from Andy Craig and Jamie turner.
Great customer care and very helpful staff, Dan and Avril sorted my out my problem without any issues
Firstly, I’d like to say that the help and service Maz provided were excellent. He’s a real credit to the team. I’d also like to compliment the reception team for being so welcoming and hospitable throughout my visit.
Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the loan car experience.
I was provided with an Audi, and shortly after leaving the dealership, two warning lights appeared on the dashboard. When I called, Daisy answered and mentioned that the team was already aware of the faults. I found this quite concerning, especially as I had made it clear when booking my car that I would be travelling up north. I don’t think it’s acceptable to provide customers with a vehicle that is already known to have faults.
Shortly afterwards, I also discovered that the cruise control wasn’t working. At that point, I called again and advised that I would be returning the loan car. I explained that I would rather take my own car back and rebook the service when a Porsche loan car was available.
When I returned, Daisy apologised and kindly offered me a Porsche, which she described as a manager’s car. I appreciated her efforts to resolve the situation, and the Porsche itself was absolutely fine.
However, it did leave me questioning why I wasn’t provided with a Porsche courtesy car in the first place. If one was available after I raised the issue, it seems reasonable that I could have been given it from the outset, rather than being sent away in an Audi with known faults.
I’m also unsure why, when purchasing and servicing a Porsche, customers are given an Audi as a courtesy car. If I wanted to drive an Audi, I would have bought one. It’s simply not the level of service or customer experience I expect from a Porsche dealership.
I want to reiterate that I have no complaints whatsoever about Maz. He was professional, helpful and a pleasure to deal with throughout.
My disappointment is with the dealership’s overall approach to courtesy cars. Providing vehicles with known faults is unacceptable, and I believe Porsche customers should be offered Porsche courtesy cars that reflect the premium experience associated with the brand.
The reason we used Hamilton Mercedes because it’s closer, the experience was ok, Not as good as fort Kinnaird Mercedes where we bought the car 5 star.
Easy booking, service timescle adhered to and hire car was good. Only issue was when washed after service part of the vehicle name across the bonnet came adrift. We await this small fix.
Good welcome and pleasant environment and service completed in very good time
I was a bit scared to be honest to go to Audi Hitchin based on the reviews. However, Annabelle was very helpful. They ordered the part in advance to have my car work done quickly. She is truly remarkable, she went extra mile to look after my car. I will have no issues recommending them

The Mercedes brand is unquestionable, but the people running the business can make all the difference. During the purchase process, I had a verbal agreement with the dealer that the car would be delivered with a full tank of petrol. I trusted his word and expected that commitment to be honoured, but unfortunately, I was let down.
If a dealership does not honour a simple verbal agreement made to gain a customer's trust, it raises concerns about how committed they are to customer satisfaction overall.
Based on my experience, I would recommend considering Hedin in Dartford as an alternative. I certainly will be looking at them for my next vehicle purchase.
I genuinely expected the level of service from Stratstone Mercedes-Benz Ipswich to be outstanding, particularly when purchasing a premium vehicle. Unfortunately, the after-sales experience has been extremely disappointing.
The initial sales process was excellent and the sales representative I dealt with was professional, helpful and attentive throughout. However, within approximately three weeks of purchasing the car, we raised concerns about an intermittent noise coming from the brakes.
Rather than the matter being dealt with promptly and proactively, we have repeatedly had to chase Stratstone Mercedes-Benz Ipswich for updates ourselves. Calls have not been returned when promised, emails have gone unanswered, and there has been a general lack of ownership throughout the process.
The vehicle was eventually collected for inspection and we were later advised that glazing had been found on the brakes and that they would need to be stripped and cleaned. This confirmed that our original concern was valid, which makes the delay and lack of communication even more frustrating.
We were also not given clear information in advance about how the car would be collected and transported, no handover documentation was completed for either our vehicle or the loan car, and no condition photographs were taken in our presence.
The most disappointing part is not simply that the car developed an issue, as these things can happen. It is the fact that we have had to chase at almost every stage just to understand what is happening with our own vehicle.
For a dealership representing Mercedes-Benz, I expected a much higher standard of aftercare, communication and professionalism. Sadly, the service received from Stratstone Mercedes-Benz Ipswich after the sale has fallen far below those expectations.
I met with Wilson Pekke to discuss trading my A Class for a GLA. Wilson was very knowledgeable and arranged a valuation of my vehicle and took me out for a test drive. I was happy with the car so started negotiating a deal. We came to an agreement and two days later I picked up my new vehicle. Wilson took care of all the paperwork and put my private plate on retention for me. I returned a week later to give Wilson the new V5 for my part exchange vehicle and Wilson organised my private plate to be put on my new vehicle. Wilson was so helpful and when I rang with a query he was able to explain everything to me. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wilson to anyone looking to buy a Mercedes Benz from Stratstone, Lakeside. I look forward to using him again next time.

Stratton Porsche dealership Colchester, makes you feel welcome and explains what will be done to your vehicle( as required) and adheres to estimated time to complete.
I dropped the car on 20 July for service and MOT on the same day. Then the service report said I need to replace the front suspension so that to pass the MOT and I agreed with it. Upon I collected the car on 21 July, I found that the MOT was failed on 21 July because they performed the MOT before the service and suspension being fixed. Though the MOT was finally pass on 21 July, I got a failed MOT record and the MOT expiry date had changed to 20 July 2027 (originally 25 July 2027 if no MOT failed) which were both avoidable. If service was performed and suspension was fixed before the MOT, the MOT should get a straight Pass without the problems mentioned.
The service consultant and manager were great and very helpful, they had tried their best to explain and make it up. However, it is the system and process that doesn’t make sense to let the MOT fail first and then do the service/fix to get the MOT pass. It is clear that these work processes are not built from the customer perspective rather than the ease of jobs arrangement for the workshop. Despite their service personnels are great, I am disappointed with the way that the services they provide are not customer oriented which do not match the premium you pay for and the renowned Mercedes’ service standard.
Lady on service very polite and helpful.
But black feet marks on white door cill.
Had new tyre fitted but dust cap not fitted.
