Just dont make me wait 15 freaking minutes for an armoury crate update i never asked for. do you think i want an update for the app that should just change power modes for the laptop? (no). if its hard for you to think, I advice to add an "automatic updates checkbox" setting. you're welcome. other than that, laptop and app does the thing its supposed to do.

Worst laptop ever

Bought an ASUS Vivobook and it started misbehaving straight out of the box.

Firstly, some genius decided to put a calculator switch in the numbers pad precisely where your fingers rest when using keyboard. Result - calculator keeps switching on when typing, so you have to keep switching it off. Infuriating.

Secondly, the damn thing keeps dropping the connection every time I connect to the Net. This happens dozens of times every session.

ASUS response. There isn't one.

This is by far the worst laptop I have ever had the misfortune to own or use. Absolutely horrendous product.

Premium motherboard ruined by poor Bluetooth implementation

I own an ASUS ROG Strix B650E-I Gaming WiFi, a premium motherboard, and the Bluetooth experience with its MediaTek wireless module has been extremely disappointing.

I tested the same Bluetooth headphones with multiple transmitters. With an old Intel AX200 they worked for hours without audio artifacts. With a smartphone they remain stable even through several walls. Even a cheap generic USB Bluetooth dongle maintains a significantly better range and connection than the onboard MediaTek solution.

On the ASUS motherboard I experienced recurring audio artifacts, short interruptions and Bluetooth disconnects. Updating the ASUS/MediaTek driver improved the situation, but did not completely solve it.

On a motherboard in this price category I should not have to replace the internal wireless module with an Intel AX210 just to obtain the stability and compatibility I already had years ago with Intel AX200.

ASUS makes excellent motherboards in many respects, but using a wireless solution with this kind of real-world behavior on a premium ROG product is unacceptable.

ASUS Premium Care with on-site service

ASUS Premium Care with on-site service. RMA GBPUW90002 raised, notification received 1 September 2026 confirming the on-site team had been notified and would call shortly to book the engineer visit. Four days later there has been no call, no email and no engineer. The notification is sent from a no-reply address and contains no case contact, so there is no route to chase it. ASUS's own Premium Care documentation says on-site support is arranged generally by the end of the next business day. This is a business machine and it is still out of service.

Very poor warranty repair experience

Very poor warranty repair experience
I sent a nearly brand-new ASUS TUF laptop in for warranty service because the battery would not charge properly and the laptop would immediately shut down when unplugged.
ASUS replaced the battery, but their repair report also says they “could not replicate” the charging issue, which makes little sense considering they proceeded to replace the battery.
Worse, they factory-reimaged the computer, completely wiping my Windows installation and all of the setup and configuration I had already done. Replacing a battery does not inherently require wiping a customer's computer.
They also did not return the laptop in the original ASUS product box I shipped it in, so I no longer have my original box.
The replacement battery appears to work so far—the laptop can at least boot unplugged—but the overall service experience was unnecessarily destructive and poorly documented.
A simple battery replacement turned into having to set up my entire computer again from scratch. Very disappointing warranty service from ASUS.

Delivered Broken Product, but no support to fix the issue

I just received a new laptop less than 30 minutes ago, turned it on and the screen is constantly flickering. I called customer service and they said there was nothing I could do expect return the product. I purchased and extended warranty and STILL, nothing we can do for you. The woman tried to kick me off hold after only 20 minutes when I asked to speak with a supervisor. When I finally accepted I needed to return the device - I was informed the entire process would take close to two weeks before my refund would be processed to buy a new laptop. This is the first, and likely last time I will ever purchase an ASUS product.

Terrible battery life on new computers

Bought an ASUS Vivobook 14 i7 just over a year ago and I’m now back in the same position looking for a new laptop.
I bought this laptop to use for light to moderate college work and was great when I first got it (apart from the mousepad and keypad randomly not working one week) and it did exactly what Iwas needing it to do. The after about 6 months of light use (I hadn’t started using it for moderate use yet) the battery life started to rapidly decrease and the amount of time it would last for just got lower and lower. I then didn’t bother taking it to college anymore because it would only last me about 2 hours then would run out of battery. I bought this laptop hoping that it would get through uni aswell however a year later, I’mnit having to look for another laptop as I just can’t use this one withoutit running out of battery constantly!
Do not recommend! I’m looking at getting a MacBook instead as their battery life is meant to be the best on the market for student laptops! I was also conveniently only given a years warranty 🙄

Worst Customer Service Experience Ever

Worst Customer Service Experience Ever

I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I have received from ASUS.

I ordered a laptop from the ASUS online store, and after two weeks, I still had not received my order. During this time, I contacted ASUS customer service repeatedly, almost every day, trying to get a clear explanation about the delay. Unfortunately, I was never given a straightforward or satisfactory answer.

On one occasion, I asked to speak with a manager in order to resolve the matter. I was told that the manager was currently in a meeting and would call me back within one hour. I waited for more than three hours, but nobody contacted me. I eventually had to call customer service again myself.

At that point, I decided to cancel my order and request a refund. I politely asked the customer service representative who was dealing with my case to explain the process and tell me what I needed to do to receive my refund.

His response was completely unacceptable. He told me, "I don't need to explain anything to you," and then simply hung up the phone.

I have never experienced such rude and unprofessional behaviour from a customer service representative. Regardless of the circumstances, customers should always be treated with respect and provided with clear information, especially when they are already experiencing a problem with their order.

The delay with my laptop was already extremely frustrating, but the way my complaint was handled by your customer service team made the situation considerably worse.

I strongly believe this matter should be investigated, particularly the conduct of the representative who ended the call in such an unprofessional manner. I would also expect a proper explanation as to why my order was delayed for two weeks, why I was repeatedly unable to receive a clear answer, and why a promised manager callback never happened.

I hope ASUS takes this complaint seriously and provides me with a proper response.

Asus provided a faulty laptop and gas…

Asus provided a faulty laptop and gas lit me for 5 months. They initially took it in for repair then told me there was no issue. With the issues persisting they took it in for repair a second time proceeded to loose the laptop for over a month. The laptop eventually turned up at the manufacturers warehouse, who confirmed the motherboard was faulty and replaced it. I have tried to raise a formal complaint with Asus about many aspect of their handling of the situation and failures on their end, however, they refuse to do so.

I know 3 people who have an ASUS computer including myself and WTF. ALL of our computers are absolutely dog crap!!! Overheat so easily, can't run things, so slow, and start having problems so early on! Even the glue holding my computer together is coming off!! The camera quality, the overheating, the whole computer in general is just HORRIBLE. Would give 0 starts DO NOT BUY.

What appeared toSerious breach of contract and delayed refund by ASUS

What appeared to be a French order turned out to be handled by the Dutch entity ASUS Europe B.V. Unfortunately, the service is appalling. There is a clear breach of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU) and the principle of conformity.
The delivered PC did not meet the specified requirements (lack of conformity). The purchase was formally cancelled and I received a credit note with the commitment that the refund would be processed by July 26th at the latest. We are now over 10 weeks further. Only after extensive legal correspondence did ASUS finally transfer the amount.
ASUS has committed a clear breach of contract: promises are not kept and customer service deliberately stalls. Due to this cross-border issue, I was forced to involve the European Consumer Centre (ECC) and regulatory authorities. Be warned before ordering here!

ASUS has just lost a £1,500 sale…

ASUS has just lost a £1,500 sale through sheer incompetence.

I ordered a new 18-inch TUF Gaming laptop a week ago, with delivery clearly advertised as taking 1–2 days.

Five working days later, the order still hadn’t even been dispatched.

Every call to sales support produced the same vague excuse: “It’s in another warehouse.” No dispatch date. No meaningful update. No reassurance. No manager or escalation team available, just a suggestion that I send an email and hope someone responds.

So I cancelled the order.

A £1,500 laptop should come with service to match. Instead, ASUS delivered bargain-basement logistics, zero accountability and a complete lack of customer care.

If this is how ASUS treats customers before the product has even arrived, I have no confidence whatsoever in the support I’d receive if something went wrong afterward.

Absolutely appalling.

ASUS has the best computers and customer service!

ASUS has the best computers and not only in hardware but above all design. I've had my old one for many years but had to get a new one because it's getting too old for new OS and apps. Although the one I ordered now had some minor flaws in the shield, so I had to return it because I was worried it would get worse by time. The customer support was understanding and amazing, there were no troubles sending back the device so I could get a new one. The customer support is polite and professional and did everything to help me with my problem. This process also took some time (because of me), I was facing some bad experiences general in life at that time, but the support was very understanding and did not rush. You don't just get a longlasting, highclass designed computer when you buy and ASUS but also a warm welcoming service and you will remember all of these qualities for a lifetime.
