An Post used to be quite good at deliveries but not any more unless they are delivering for Amazon. Everyone else seem to be second class customer. They don't deliver and they can't tell you where... See more

Got on adverts helmet camera, person posted without tracking, came stolen in post office because it's without tracking,, That's crazy so big company making millions and stealing second hand items,,
My Partner went to post a small Envelope with a one page letter in it, weighing a total of 30 grams, in Borrisleigh Post Office, in County Tipperary. Instead of the normal €1.85c it should've been, she was told she had to pay €3.50c. This is at least the 8th time this has happened in this Post Office. My Partner said the Staff are lovely, but this overcharging has happened 8 times now. It is UNACCEPTABLE.

They advised they lost my package in their sorting office but refused to tell me how or why, refused to tell me when i can expect an update and when i asked whats to be done about it they basically told me its just too bad and i will have to contact the seller to arrange a new one. The seller didnt lose my package and my seller isnt refusing to provide basic information on what they are responsible. Items i paid for were delayed over a week and then lost. Not good enough. If they "lost" something and refuse to tell me where why or how i can action this then its theft plain and simple. I have already put in a request with my seller and any other one that uses this services because dispite how awful they have done this is about the best you can expect from them

It seems the company enjoys making fools of its users; they have a chat feature where you talk to someone who acts like a robot—they just keep saying you have to wait, and it’s completely useless. The live chat is a bad joke that toys with people who paid for a service that is poorly executed and shows absolutely no commitment.

I haven’t had any updates on my parcel for almost two weeks. An Post hasn’t even handed it over to the French company that was supposed to deliver it to my home. I hope I’ll get some news about my parcel soon, and I really hope it hasn’t been lost. My tracking number is CP476340265IE, just in case.

I'd give zero stars if that were an option. I ordered an item, got a message to say the item was delivered to my safe place and they attached proof of delivery. The photo is a picture of my item in what looks like the back of the van with a load of other people's packages. They never came near our house that day. Tried to find out what happened to the item and still waiting for a response. This is actually the second time they have marked something as delivered but the item has just disappeared and been a few occasions when they send a message saying something is delivered but doesn't actually show up till the next day.

So now if the fact that an post charge 10 euro customs on ever import they cant even deliver the items on the day they arrive after Ive paid customs, I wait upto a week after stuff from japan arrives in Ireland to get it home and on top of that the new postman has decided throwing mail that doesnt fit into the post box over the fence onto the grass when its raining is acceptable instead of walking 10 metres to put it either on the doorstep or under our garage shelter outside. Luckily nothing had been damaged yet. An post is a reflection of the irish government itself.

The worst company ever. There is no call attempt, no sms msg, no waiting, no nothing.
If you are not at your door in the perfect moment they arrive, forget it. They will not ring nor nothing. It’s you in the wild waiting for them at your door the whole day. It’s disgusting. This company should be closed for good!

There is even further details. There was a photo of where the item is that is null. You only see the package. Could be out of this world. Not even Sherlock Homes could find it with that photo.
Then they tried again, without warnings. And of course, I was able to see the guy coming to delivery! AMAZING!

International parcel stuck for almost two weeks
My parcel was accepted by An Post almost two weeks ago and has still not even been dispatched from Ireland.
The tracking has provided virtually no useful information throughout the entire process. The sender eventually had to contact An Post himself and was told that the parcel is simply sitting at the Portlaoise distribution centre waiting to be dispatched, apparently for no specific reason.
A complaint has now been registered, but we were told that it could take another 5–7 days to resolve.
Delays can happen with any carrier. What I find unacceptable is that a tracked parcel can apparently remain stuck in a distribution centre for so long without the issue being detected or corrected, and that even after it has been reported, there is still no clear timeframe for the parcel to actually resume its journey.
At this point, I simply want An Post either to locate the parcel and put it back into the delivery network immediately, or, if they are unable to do so, to deal with it as a lost parcel.
Update following An Post's response:
Rather than repeating what I already explained in my review, I would appreciate it if you could actually look into where my parcel is and provide concrete information about its current location and status.

I got a message that they tried to deliver to my address but I wasn't at home at the time. This is just a lie as I was at my place with wife the whole day and I didn't get any calls. Support is not accessable l, stupid chat bot that can't help. It's hard to understand what to do now and how to get a package. Very bad service

Once again a delivery this time from ebay has gone missing at the infamous Mails Centre, An Post delivery Customer service is abysmal with no accountability and no phone service at the Mails centre to contact. They need to be brought to task over this as it's the Customer lies the loss of An Post's incompetence. Despicable company to deal with
