I believe the commissions are a bit too high (although they are low compared to other platforms). However, apart from that, it was a great experience.

Everything was smooth and amazing. WhyDonate does not take percentage of donations, no hidden fees, no tricks. They are constantly in contact with you for anything , and even offer you to give you a spotlight on their social media to push the fundraiser even more.

WhyDonate made setting up and managing our fundraiser incredibly easy. The platform is intuitive, the fees are transparent, and payouts were fast and reliable. Whenever I had a question, support responded quickly and helpfully via the chat. I’d recommend WhyDonate to anyone looking to raise funds for a good cause , a genuinely smooth experience from start to finish.

Three details made our experience here outstanding. First is the fairly straightforward ways to craft and activate the fundraiser and add updates. Of course it took me a few tries to get it right. This takes me to the second detail: tech support! They respond very quickly even with huge time difference between UK and US Pacific time zones. Third, we knew exactly what we had raised (gross) and what would go into the bank account (net). Was easy to keep track. One wish is to be able to see who anonymous donors are so I could have thanked then directly, i.e. name; instead I address each note of thanks as Dear Anon, my shorthand for anonymous. Maybe the donor didn't even want me to know, much less the public! As an aside, love the title of the site, WhyDonate. Great opening invitation.

Very happy with their support, asked for help on cancelling a recurring donation, they solved it quickly.

Nice website. My bankaccount was not accepted, because it was already in use by my partner. But the chat helpdesk was really helpfull and within 20 minutes it was arranged.

I’m very grateful to have found WhyDonate. This is my first time asking strangers for financial help, and after a difficult experience with another fundraising platform, finding a platform that feels transparent and easy to understand has given me renewed hope.
