Successful crowdfunding relies on sharing your fundraiser with your own network of friends, family, colleagues, social media contacts, and community. As we explain during the campaign creation process, donations from strangers should be viewed as a bonus, not something to rely on.
The campaigns that raise the most are almost always those where the organiser actively promotes their fundraiser and encourages supporters to share it with others.

School fees
I am really saddened by my experience with gogetfunding at first time. I created a fundraiser for my kids school fees here by title, school fees. My name is George Mbindu in Kenya. My friends, Andi, Simona and Mary donated 100$ in total which was to be deposited in my Bitcoin wallet but nothing to date. This is a very bad scam. I want all the people around the globe not to use this unless they want to be scammed. Pay my funds to my Bitcoin wallet attached.

We can confirm that the funds for your campaign have now been successfully paid out to the Bitcoin wallet provided on your account.
Part of the delay was that Bitcoin funds are not transferred automatically to campaign wallets. As explained by our support team when they contacted you, a withdrawal request first needed to be submitted before the payout could be processed.
Our support team has also contacted you multiple times regarding this matter, but unfortunately we have not received a response.
Please know that we are here to support you with whatever you may need, and we understand how important these funds are to you and your family.
We would appreciate you checking your Bitcoin wallet and considering updating your review to reflect that the payout has been completed.

SCAM ALERT
SCAM ALERT - I have personally contributed to launching the funding campaign of George Mbindu in Kenya for his kids school's tuition and Gogetfunding is retaining the funds approx US$ 100 and does not release it to him. I am very sad because George needed the money and I could have sent him bitcoin directly but wanted to give him a chance of launching his campaign and therefore contributed the on the platform. Now Gogetfunding has appropriated the funds.
It is so sad that such unscrupulous people steal small sums from the needing because they know they will get away with it. STAY AWAY!!!!

Switched from GoFundMe to GoGetFunding and it was well worth it. Had numerous donors complain about getting charged tons extra at GFM on checkout (weird service fees/tips for the platform!), whereas GGF makes it much more simple. Plus we and donors could customize a whole lot more. Appreciate the site.

Gogetfunding are a dedicated team who have supported me through the process of setting up a fundraiser. Thank you Victoria for your patience with me.
There was an issue with Stripe which is now being resolved, it was my mistake to start with.
They offer a versatile platform for payments.
The campaigns can be ongoing which means people can donate whenever they can.
It is easy to upload photos and videos and to amend the campaign to keep people updated with any progress.
I would highly recommend Gogetfunding as a platform to help anyone in need.

To clarify, Stripe is one of the payment providers available on our platform. Unfortunately, certain IBANs — including some PayPal-linked IBANs — are not always compatible with Stripe’s payout requirements, which can result in transfers being rejected. Stripe typically pays out to regular bank accounts.
As an alternative, fundraisers can also enable MangoPay as their payment provider. Our team is always happy to guide users through selecting and setting up the option that works best for them.
Please be assured that when a payout cannot be completed, funds are not lost — they remain secure within the payment system and are returned to the connected balance. Processing times can vary slightly depending on banking timelines, which is why an exact date is sometimes difficult to provide in advance.

We will never ask you to pay us in order to release funds, or to buy gift cards for any reason.
Scammers have been impersonating fundraising platforms and sending fake emails asking users to buy gift cards or make extra payments. We’ve been warning our community about this on our blog, on the front page of our helpdesk, and during the campaign-creation process to help users spot these scams quickly.
To reassure you:
– We will never ask you to purchase a gift card, send money outside our platform, or pay extra to fix a “payment error.”
– No issue occurred with your campaign or eWallet.
We know how stressful fundraising can already be, and the last thing you need is someone pretending to be us. We're sorry this happened.

They make it impossible to contact campaign owners
I've donated to some campaigns on here and with one I wanted to donate again but realized I'd never received an update. I tried to send the campaign owner a message to this affect, to ask about an update, and I received a message saying 'we've detected that this message is spam' and to contact them, which clearly wasn't the case. And contacting them was nearly impossible. So I will donate on another platform from now on.

Fast, Transparent, and a Lifesaver – Funds Raised Within Hours!
What I liked most was how quickly my campaign was live. Within a few hours, people were already contributing. I appreciated the transparency with fees, and being able to withdraw funds as I needed them was a lifesaver.
