I have been using Merkandi for almost a year
I've been using Merkandi for almost a year now and have mixed feelings. The app is quite user-friendly and intuitive. As for the trading side, during that time, I've only concluded three transactions out of about 50 listed offers. Perhaps my offers aren't very attractive, but perhaps Merkandi should take steps to make the portal more popular among European companies—perhaps lowering subscription prices? However, I'm not giving up and have extended my subscription for another year.

All the fees, zero responsability. Leave the e-market of Merkandi to its devices. Try the membership for 14 days? wait a minute ...but as a paid member if you want to see the sellers contact details and actually use the platform for what you paid for, you have to waive your right to claim a refund.
Thank you for proving my point. By taking zero responsibility for the seller tactics happening on Merkandi. Claiming sellers "don't have time" to update listings doesn't explain an out-of-stock listing staying active for a month while the seller tries to upsell me via WhatsApp. Mind you the listing in qiestion is still there even now 13th Aug while the seller has made other new listings but fails to remove the old cheaper one.
Digging into my private messages to point out I bought from someone else doesn't change the fact that the platform incentivizes listings to trap buyers into non-refundable subscription fees.

I tried using Merkandi for three weeks after seeing a lot of used and returned products advertised at a good resellable price. The specific lot looked great and had been advertised for two weeks before I finally decided to sign up.
Here is where the trap starts: once you pay the subscription fee, you still cannot see the seller's contact details. To access them, I was forced to agree to a condition stating I would waive my right to a refund and lose my subscription fee. I accepted because I was serious about buying the lot.
I reached out to the seller via email and WhatsApp. They took days to reply, only to tell me they were on holiday and that I needed to wait two weeks to do business. I patiently waited. When they finally returned and I tried to complete the order, they suddenly claimed the product was "out of stock." Conveniently, they offered me a similar product that was twice as expensive (ebay price).
When I checked the Merkandi marketplace, the original "out of stock" lot was still active. I asked the seller why, and they made an excuse about not updating their stock. Yet, here we are 4 weeks later, and that exact same lot is STILL listed. It was clearly a bait-and-switch tactic used to clickbait buyers into paying for a Merkandi subscription.
Obviously, this is a platform built to protect sellers, not buyers. Most of the positive reviews seem to be either paid advertising or written by sellers liquidating stock. If you are a buyer, do yourself a favor: read the bad reviews first and see what this platform is really like before throwing away your right to a refund.

Merkandi is a B2B platform with approximately 300,000 wholesale offers. A buyer subscription provides 12 months of access to the entire marketplace, seller contact details and platform tools. It is not payment for, or a reservation of, one specific lot and therefore cannot guarantee that a particular offer will still be available when a seller is contacted.
Merkandi does not offer a 14-day free trial for buyers. Additionally, as stated in the Terms and Conditions of our service, which users accept prior to purchasing a membership, we clearly inform users that membership fees are non-refundable.
Before gaining immediate access to the full functionality of the service, including seller contact details, users are asked to expressly confirm that the service may begin immediately and to acknowledge the resulting effect on their right of withdrawal. This confirmation is required before the contact details are displayed.
Many offers on Merkandi involve liquidation goods, overstocks, end-of-line products and customer returns. Attractive lots can sell very quickly, and their availability may change before a listing is updated. Sellers are responsible for keeping their offers accurate and up to date.
However, this does not mean that Merkandi ignores reports concerning seller conduct. Sellers and their offers undergo verification, and listings reported as outdated, misleading or non-compliant can be reviewed and blocked. Appropriate action, including suspension of the seller’s ability to publish offers on the platform, may also be taken against sellers who breach the platform rules.
Merkandi does not participate in payments, delivery or commercial arrangements between users and cannot guarantee the outcome of an individual transaction. Our responsibility is to provide and maintain the platform, verify sellers and respond to reported violations.
To allow our Customer Service team to review the specific listing, please send them the offer link and the relevant details, including any external correspondence concerning the product’s availability.
Finally, Merkandi does not buy, commission or publish reviews on anyone’s behalf. Reviews on Trustpilot are submitted independently by their authors.

Think twice before subscribe
I registered on Merkandi expecting a transparent service, but immediately realized it did not meet my expectations. I requested a cancellation and refund almost right away, without having properly used or consumed their service.
Customer support completely refused to issue a refund, hiding behind the claim that this is strictly a "B2B transaction" to bypass basic consumer rights and cancellation policies.
I registered as an individual, yet they treat every sign-up as a business to avoid issuing refunds. This is an unfair and anti-consumer practice.
I have already initiated a chargeback/dispute with my payment provider and reported this situation to consumer protection authorities.
Warning to potential buyers: Be extremely careful before paying. Once they have your money, their support will refuse to help or refund you regardless of the circumstances.

I do not recommend this platform.
I am sharing my personal experience with this platform.
I registered on 17.03.2026 and paid for access using my personal bank account as a private individual. On 18.03.2026, within one day of the purchase, I submitted a request to withdraw from the contract in line with EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
Based on my experience, the company refused to issue a refund. In their response, they stated that my account was treated as a business account due to the registration details provided.
From my perspective, this classification does not reflect the nature of my purchase, as it was not made in the course of any professional or business activity.
I was also informed that I had waived my right of withdrawal via a pop-up shown after payment. To the best of my knowledge and understanding, this does not meet the requirement for prior and explicit consent under EU consumer protection rules.
Despite several attempts to resolve the matter directly, we were unable to reach a solution.
This review reflects my personal experience and understanding of the situation. I recommend that others carefully review the terms and conditions and ensure they fully understand the implications before making a purchase.
I am open to updating this review if the issue is resolved.

Please note that the classification of an account is determined by the registration details provided at the time of sign-up, not by the payment method used or the intended use of the service. As you indicated, your account was registered using company details.
In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, the 14-day right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) applies exclusively to consumers, defined as natural persons acting outside their trade, business, craft, or profession. This right does not apply to companies or individuals acting in a professional or business capacity. Based on our records, your Merkandi account was registered as a company account and the service was purchased for business purposes. Therefore, the provisions regarding the 14-day withdrawal period are not applicable in this case.
Furthermore, prior to completing your purchase, you accepted our Terms and Conditions, which clearly state that we do not offer refunds.
In addition, you have also expressly waived your right to withdraw from the contract in the pop-up notice that appears when you first click “Show details” on the website after making the payment for the account. It is a very clear and simple message.
Our service provides access to the contact details of verified sellers, which has been duly delivered. According to our records, you have actively used the service by logging into your account, accessing seller contact information, and exchanging details with them.
