The review is mix, but the big problem is the teacher audio quality. sometimes the teacher is great sometimes they are not interested in teacher
Terrific experience with Lingoda! 10/10
1. I love the variety of teachers. Hearing Spanish from Spain as well as different Latin American accents makes the classes feel immersive and gives me a much broader exposure to the language.
2. The teachers I’ve had are professional, take their work seriously, and are great at facilitating discussions so that every student gets a chance to speak. That’s so important to me. At an online language school in Spain, I once had a middle-aged female teacher who seemed to be going through menopause and was even more short-tempered than Samantha Jones from *Sex and the City* lol :D My classmates and I were honestly scared to speak up oops! (P.S. No offense intended with the menopause joke—my issue was her temper, not her age.)With Lingoda, I feel comfortable joining in and making mistakes.
3. What I’ve benefited from most is the feedback after every class, both from the teacher and from the AI. It helps me spot mistakes I didn’t realize I was making and shows me what to work on next. I love that I can look back at my feedback and actually see my progress. That’s a big part of what makes Lingoda good value for me.
4. Nothing’s perfect, of course. A few teachers based in more remote parts of Latin America have had occasional connection issues during class. I wonder whether the distance might play a role if Lingoda’s servers are based in Europe? Either way, it would be great if Lingoda could offer teachers in those areas more practical support to help them get a faster, more reliable connection.
Wish I did not sign up for the sprint which I think is a little bit of a rip off especially needing one week in advance to cancel and reschedule a class. Otherwise, the teachers are good and the topics are interesting and they are very well structured. I would consider using it for a different language, but not in a sprint type way. Also, your mind needs time to assimilate information so rushing through so many classes a month does not necessarily mean you’re going to retain it. I actually would like to give this 3 1/2 out of five.

Great experience, useful to learn a new language and easy to use on a daily basis

I have been really enjoying learning my new language with Lingoda! If you are looking for a platform that delivers real results without feeling like a traditional, rigid classroom, this is it.
Here are the biggest upsides I’ve experienced:
- Ultimate Flexibility. You are in complete control of your schedule. There are no fixed, mandatory classes - you simply book the sessions that fit seamlessly into your routine, whether you have a busy work life or a changing calendar.
- Constant, Engaging Interaction. Every lesson is dynamic and interactive. You get continuous speaking practice and feedback, learning primarily from expert teachers and secondarily from your peers in small classes. There is never a dull moment!
- 100% Language Focus. The core mission here is actual fluency. You are there to genuinely learn and master the language, not just sit through lectures to check a box or chase a meaningless certificate.
- Fun and Practical Learning. The curriculum strikes a brilliant balance between essential grammar and vocabulary. Best of all, it's anchored in real-life scenarios, meaning you can immediately take what you learn in class and use it in everyday life.
Overall, Lingoda makes language learning structured yet enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone serious about speaking a new language!

I just finished my 6th class while on the 30 day lingoda sprint, and I can confidently say, I've learned more and have become much more comfortable communicating in my target language then ever before. The teachers have been great and the resources and lesson PDF have been super helpful.

The teachers are great and I like the flexibility while still having a framework.

The biggest strength of Lingoda are definitely teachers. Most of them I consider among the best I've met.
Materials for the lesson are okay (as in good but nothing spcial), but they are great conversation starters - which to me is exactly what I need.
Also, personally, as I am doing a super sprint - I think that it is too much. 60 days non-stop leaves me without time to really get ready for next class and repeat material from previous classes... I do realize that it is all self-inflicted (it was my decision to start the challenge after all), but I don't feel like it is the most optimal way to learn. BUT - we'll see after a month or so.
Oh yeah, and subscription fees are really affordable (at least for spanish) compared to other services.

I love most of the profes, and I really appreciate the variety of teachers and learners from around the world. I find the Sprint really interesting and fun, I just wish there was like a quick view version of skills, and maybe even a way to track what subjects/skills I seem confident/doing well in, and what needs more work. I have a hard time navigating the sequence of the lectures since my schedule necessitates taking classes at a similar time every day. Regardless, I really enjoy the lessons and am excited to see how my Sprint turns out!
P.S. read the Sprint rules VERY carefully! It is not for the faint of heart!

The possibility to choose the lesson that I want to learn. Good teachers who care about the students and who want us to learn something. They're always open to answer your questions

A great resource for learning a second language. All the teachers are nice and will help you learn at your pace. Theres a lot of resources that they have. Its awesome that I can download the classroom pdfs after class to review new words in the lesson.

I’m learning German with Lingoda, and I’m happy with it so far. The live classes with a teacher give me real speaking practice and immediate corrections, which is what I need most as I prepare for my B1 certification. What I enjoy most is the diversity of the classes: we connect with people from different parts of the world, and learning together makes the lessons more motivating and fun. The structured modules make it easy to stay consistent, and being able to choose lessons helps me focus on grammar and communication. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to practice speaking, not just study from a book.

I like having many different teachers over the course of my time learning with Lingoda. I have teachers from different parts of the german speaking countries. This has helped me hear different accents and dialects and I feel this has been an advantage learning the language. An area that is lacking is writing german. I am not sure how to improve this area, maybe more classes geared only towards writing. All in all, I am pleased with Lingoda and how it has helped me better understand how to communicate in a second language that I love.
