I had a bike So far two months share experience first this bike is away too heavy for similar models over 33 kg not many people can manage lift up this bike I already upgraded the throttle power that’s cost extra £ and still feel not enough power before upgrading the power feels like really low and the bike has done about 150 miles over the two months squeeze sound came from everywhere front and back wheel I don’t think this bike will reliability the only thing that attracts me is the shape nice looking bike but not the good bike I think this bike is over priced for the quality,

I have not yet received delivery, and you do not accept my cancellation due to late delivery.

Very disappointing experience. After only around three weeks of light use, my BK35S effectively started falling apart while I was riding it. The crank assembly failed completely, causing the bike to wobble severely and making me lose control. Thankfully I was on a cycle path rather than a road. Hitway's own technical team subsequently confirmed that both the left crank arm and bottom bracket needed replacing. The folding mechanism also failed, leaving the bike unable to be ridden or folded.

The after-sales experience has made matters worse. Hitway accepted my return and agreed to a full refund, but have repeatedly made the return unnecessarily complicated, including suggesting that I repair the folding mechanism myself so I can fold the defective bike for shipping, or pay for replacement packaging before they will collect it.

For a bike costing around £400 to suffer this level of mechanical failure after only a few weeks is extremely poor, and the difficulty obtaining a straightforward refund has left me very disappointed with Hitway.

After looking at e-bikes for way too long, I finally purchased this BK15P as they are on sale. The bike was delivered quickly, in great shape - very well packaged. It was easy for me to assemble, and if you need any help there is a good youtube video. I had to tweak the deraileur (to tension the chain) and have added my own saddle and rear rack. I'm using the bike now mainly for deliveries in South Wales and it copes well with the 100 metre hills we have - I've had it for a couple of weeks now. The battery lasts extremely well, has great range imo and is easy enough to pedal with no power. Backup batteries are available at reasonable prices if you need to be working round the clock. I'm 6'1" and the BK15P with the 27.5" wheels is absolutely fine for me. The build quality is very solid. I can see why people pay extra for rear suspension, but I will be using this bike for quite some time as it is perfect for my needs. There is a long warranty, and the bike has its own unique number stamped on the front. I've had quite a few compliments - it does look very good. The bike stand is incredibly useful, as is the bell that it comes with. It has very good front lights. All in all, I would recommend this BK15P to anyone thinking of buying one, it's extremely good value and high quality for the price point. Thanks HITWAY!

Bicycles are the worst you can buy, the quality is very very very cheap. It starts to rost just after 6 months of 2-3 times of use. You need to contact support every 2-3 months for new problems. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I placed the order 10 days ago, and it still hasn't arrived. The shipping method chosen by the store is terrible, and there is no customer service. On Wednesday, they emailed saying it would arrive on Thursday, so I waited. It didn't arrive on Thursday, and today is Friday—still nothing. Very slow delivery.

dreadful company with no real customer service. I'm in the process of trying to return 2 bikes the one i built bit never ridden they will not take back unless its packaged in the original box, the other one is still in the packaging unopened. Three times they have suggested it would be easer to just keep them, maybe for them, I had already explained as the hight of the bike was not adjustable (not mentioned in the advert ) it was useless to me
So I have to pay to return it as they will not accept drooping it off in person, i asked what day there uk warehouse was open and what times and got told they don't know ITS THEIR WAREWHOUSE, total shambles of a company, AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I bought this bike almost 2 in May 2024 years ago. In less than a year, the pedal sensor broke, which wasn't too surprising since the cable is very exposed. I managed to fix it myself back then. However, I recently got an "Error 10" out of nowhere, causing the pedal assist to stop working completely.

At first, I thought I needed to change the sensor, but then I realized the error was not actually related to the sensor. I ordered a new controller instead, thinking that had to be the issue. After changing it, I still got the exact same error.

Honestly, I give up. It might be something with the battery or a broken internal cable, but because this brand offers absolutely no technical support, it is impossible to fix. Local bike shops don't have the parts for it either. I am going to buy a new bike from a more reliable brand. My conclusion: you get what you pay for. If you make it work for three years, you're a winner, but don't expect these flimsy components to last any longer.

I have purchased the Hitway BK35S. It arrived in good time and started to unbox and assemble. When I came to the seat post it will not go into the hole on the bike. I have emailed the company who have helped me with suggestions. I had to spring the tube with a wedge and file off some burs. It’s now ok and fits well. I finished and tested the bike with good results. Customer support has been good all the way.

My experience with Hitway was unfortunately disappointing. The quality of the products themselves and the price-to-quality ratio are generally okay. However, the real problem is the customer service.

I did not buy my e-bike directly from the official Hitway store but through a dealer. When I had a controller issue, I was initially told that they could not help me because I had not purchased the bike directly from them. I already found that very disappointing.

After a lot of back and forth, they eventually tried to help, but communication was very poor. Responses often took a very long time, and I repeatedly had to send reminders just to receive any update.

Because I couldn’t get the controller I needed, I ended up buying one myself for around €40. Unfortunately, I then ran into more issues. Instead of focusing on the actual problem, they kept bringing up different possible causes, such as claiming there was a motor issue, even though the bike was still working with the old controller and only the light function had stopped working.

What frustrated me the most was that they often did not provide what I was actually asking for. Instead of a clear and direct solution, there were constant delays, confusion, and unrelated suggestions.

In the end, they offered me options like paying the return shipping costs myself or receiving only €20 compensation and keeping the item. Overall, while the products themselves are acceptable for the price, the customer support experience has been frustrating and disappointing.

I bought  BK6S Plus Cargo Electric Bike because the website states that it is suitable for people from 170 cm tall. I am 175 cm tall and I already struggle to touch the ground properly, so I do not consider it safe. The situation is even worse for my father, for whom I bought the bike, as he is 170 cm tall: for him, it is practically unusable.
I find it very serious that the minimum height indication is not realistic, because safety is essential on an electric bike of this type. If I had not tried it, I would not have been able to understand how dangerous and unsuitable it is, but precisely because I tried it, returning it now becomes extremely penalizing.
The website mentions a 30-day return policy, but the cost of returning it is extremely high: €150 plus shipping plus a 20% deduction from the value of the bike because it has been used. Under these conditions, the return policy is not really convenient or fair, and I will probably be forced to sell it privately, losing money.
Very negative experience. I absolutely do not recommend it. For purchases like this, it is much better to buy from Amazon or from sellers with clearer and less punitive return policies.

I bought two folding electric bikes from Hitway, order number HWUK5443. As someone who has cycled over many years and owned two folding electric bikes before the Hitway I can absolutely say that these bikes are not only bad, they are actually dangerous! In fact the instruction manual even informs you of the danger when you first cycle off. I bought these because of the small wheels thinking that they would fit into the car better but in fact they are harder to fold than the 20 inch bikes I had, weight just as much and take up the same room. My wife wont even ride hers having collided with a lamppost because of the sudden surge when you first peddle and it cost her nearly £2000 to have her teeth fixed.

I have had my hitway folding electric bike for many years , I weigh 234 lbs have the 750 watt power source. There's a little trick you can do to get another 5 mph out of it so my too speed is 25 which is plenty fast for me.I love the bike it's been fantastic.

I bought my bk27 in Aug 2024 and since then it was nothing but problems.

Brakes were just broken out of the box. When I asked for a refund immediately - they didn't care to explain how the pickup would work and if i was supposed to disassemble it back. They just ignored that question and I also forgot to push them further.

Also the gears needed to be completely re-tuned and of course they would never compensate for that.

Nobody in the EU will repair these bikes. Their parts are no-name nonsense. I have to contact them myself, so they restock it on their website. Pay insane price of 30 Eur per brake (Yes, China special no-name stuff). That was on May 27. Today on June 6th I still don't have a single replacement brake, neither front nor back. So be ready to pay up and then do it yourself. Saving ~250 eur vs a more reputable bike in this case will cost you more in the end.

I don't recommend to splurge on an overpriced EU bike, but do yourself a favor and look up some more reputable brands that take their customer support more seriously and don't put no-name parts (like brakes in this case) on their bikes to turn your life into a nightmare.

I ordered a BK6S Pro on Friday 29th May. It has arrived today 03/06/2026. The tracking service was great, I have been updated at each stage of the shipping process. Emails I had sent to Hitway prior to the purchase were answered promptly. Very pleased so far. Now to put it together ......

I bought the bk35 to commute to and from work, wich is a 4 mile round trip, my own fault, but didnt realise i couldnt use it in the rain,, I live in the Uk, and we never know, and cant predict the weather, twice now, i have rode it to work in the morning, but due to rain, unable to ride home again, then having to rely on taxi or bus to return home..this bike is totally useless for commuting in the UK,, happy with the performance, and style, but utterly usekess for the UK

The HITWAY BK35S honestly surprised me. It’s light, compact, and perfect for trains, city rides, and everyday commuting. Despite its small size, it rides comfortably and feels much more solid than you would expect at this price point. The battery range is more than good enough for normal daily use, and folding the bike is quick and easy.

Of course there are small downsides, like the lack of gears, but overall this is an incredibly practical and fun e-bike. One thing I also really have to mention is the excellent customer support. Fast responses, very helpful communication, and they genuinely try to help you.

For the price, the BK35S is easily one of the best compact e-bikes you can buy right now.

In our search for a foldable e-bike, we stumbled into the HITWAY website and its products. To say it in one word: ‘wow!’ And that stands for: the bike, the pre- and aftersales, the delivery and the service. As if the bike (BK6): it’s as easy as they promise. Don’t hesitate to pick one here!

I ordered the bk1 electric bike after reading reviews and then decided to buy.
It arrived way faster than I expected and after looking at the video on putting the bike together I decided to let a bike shop do this for only £30 so peace of mind all round.
I am delighted with the bike from the built in lights , back rack and the visual display is great. The speeds are good for me and top speed of 15.5 mph.
The bike is well built and I am very happy with my purchase.
It’s got me out more too.
