It is helpful to have direct in-app communication ability. I usually do get the right answer and back on my way pretty quickly. It is unclear how to submit requests for features within the platform.

Jaya managed, after a lot of agro, to get Saxo sorted out.
+ Competitive price (One star)
+ App highly efficient (The second star)
+/- Contact person very patient …
… but doesn’t seem to ear our complaint, always repeats the same excuses seemingly lacking the internal influence to solve our problems and even adds to the workload instead of filtering requests.
- Compliance department is a nightmare! They ask again and again for more documents to be sure they did their job and as it seems quite impossible for them to really “Know their customers (KYC)” they keep harassing me, asking for documents.
Useless platform, the same wise account I used to send money to my saxo account could not be used to receive money from Saxo because the useless platform capture the wrong account details without providing option to edit the detail.
I really regret using the platform

I’ve used Saxo for a personal trading account and have become increasingly frustrated with the experience.
Over the past few months, I have repeatedly been asked to provide personal and financial information, including earnings, proof of address and other KYC documentation, all of which I have supplied. Despite this, the requests continue.
The latest review has gone considerably further, asking me to provide information about the supplier due diligence procedures of the company I own. This is for my personal Saxo account, not a corporate account.
I understand that financial institutions have regulatory and anti-money-laundering obligations, and I have no issue providing reasonable information to satisfy those requirements. However, the frequency and depth of Saxo's questioning now feels disproportionate and intrusive.
Combined with aspects of the platform that I already find restrictive, this experience has significantly reduced my willingness to hold or deposit further capital with Saxo.
There are plenty of brokers competing for client assets. A compliance process that repeatedly makes legitimate customers feel as though they have to justify their entire personal and business affairs is not a good client experience.
I am reviewing only Arpit, who assisted me with my problem - I am not reviewing Saxo. Arpit did a wonderful job of understanding my problem, which was quite complex, and then addressing it. Arpit, I mark you ten out of ten - well done and thank you very much indeed - David

The set up process was easy. One day after setting up the account, I received a call from customer serviced to make sure I understood the platform, terms and conditions and documentation requirements.
Jacopo was very helpful

Avoid Saxo Bank – Extremely Unprofessional Compliance Experience
My experience with Saxo Bank’s compliance department was absolutely unacceptable.
I was simply transferring my own money from my own Swiss bank account to my Saxo account, in Swiss francs. Despite this, I was subjected to intrusive and, in my view, completely disproportionate questions about my employer, income, and tax affairs.
What should have been a routine transfer turned into an unnecessarily invasive and frustrating compliance process. The way Saxo handled the situation gave me very little confidence in how they treat their clients or manage legitimate customer funds.
A bank should make its clients feel that their assets are secure and that they are dealing with a professional institution. Unfortunately, my experience with Saxo was the complete opposite.
I would strongly caution anyone considering Saxo Bank, particularly anyone planning to hold substantial assets there. Think very carefully before trusting this bank with your money.
For me, this experience was enough to seriously question whether Saxo is a bank I want to have any relationship with. I would not recommend Saxo Bank.
Platform is ok. Customer service is abysmal. Difficult to find a way to connect. When you call, you are put on hold (I was first in line for over 10 minutes) and then they hang up on you. Happened two times in a row. Lost patience after being over 3h30mn on hold (while being first in line for the entire time). But clearly means that there is no one actually answering the phone. Very frustrating as I am already a client....

I believe I had closed my mother's Saxo Trading account down about 6 years ago. About a year later I started to receive corporate actions on my mother's account. I contacted Saxo on several occasions over the years, to ask if my mother still had any stocks or cash in it, they said no, and that the account had now been fully closed.
About 3 weeks ago, I received an email, saying, that any cash or stocks must be removed from her account by the 4th September 2026, before access was denied.
It turned out that my mother's account had not been closed and there were still some Vodafone shares in it. After several more phone calls, I was told that my mother's account was valued at just over £70.00. Once costs had been added, she received £17.58.

Very transparent platform, with complete information about costs. The trading conditions panel shows commissions, spreads and fees clearly for every instrument before you trade. Interactive charts make product research easy.
Customer service is also very reactive and genuinely helpful: I had a question about my accounts and custody fees and the agent was quick to clarify my doubts and proactively offered a solution. Clear, patient answers throughout.
