Setting up a Delaware C Corp on your own isn’t that hard — I’d heard that from a lot of people, and it’s true. The hard part is everything that comes after. As a foreign founder, the post-formation paperwork, tax deadlines, and handling mail from the US quickly turns into more than you can keep track of on your own.
I did a lot of research before picking a provider, and I went with Firstbase because it offered the best combination of ongoing support and hands-on, premium-level service at a genuinely reasonable price. I’ve been on the annual plan with the monthly mail service for over a year now, and honestly, it’s hard to name a real downside. I don’t think many places manage this much for this price.
The best part is that they consistently notify me about the documents I need to file and the forms I need to handle around tax season. And they don’t just send a reminder — they point you to the right tools and explain the basics of how to actually get it done, which matters a lot when you’re doing this from outside the US. There’s also a paid add-on where Firstbase handles the filings for you, which I plan to use once the company grows a bit more.
The rewards are another thing I didn’t expect to value as much as I do. There’s a huge list of perks and credits you can redeem — ChatGPT API credits, AWS coupons, and a lot more. It takes a full day just to go through everything, and it adds up to real savings when you’re running a company.

I used Firstbase to incorporate my Wyoming LLC as a solo founder. The process was straightforward and uncomplicated. I had no issues opening a bank account with Wise Business afterwards and found the mailroom service satisfactory, receiving all IRS-related documents. I also appreciated the reminders regarding the annual report deadline.
In my opinion, the price premium is definitely worth it compared to other competitors. 5 stars!

Straightforward company setup for a non-US founder
I used Firstbase to set up my US company while living in the UK, and the process was straightforward from start to finish. They handled the company formation and EIN application, kept everything clearly organized, and made a complicated process feel much more manageable. It saved me a lot of time researching and coordinating everything myself. I’d recommend Firstbase to other international founders setting up a US company.

Changed our LLC addresses, made a mess, zero accountability
UPDATE: Firstbase contacted me after this review, resolved the problem and offered me a compensation for the problem caused. I hope their customer flow is fixed for other customers as well in the future, as I sincerely think Firstbase is a good platform overall.

I don't like when companies make mistakes (multiple times btw) and have zero accountability, and Firstbase is one of those companies. Their dashboard is great and onboarding process was smooth, but problems eventually came.
For 2 of my LLCs, one random day they just said they had problems with their Mailroom provider and that we needed to get an address somewhere else. They offered a different address in another state, a total mess!
I decided to hire another service for mail, having to pay money for the mess they made to update my address. Eventually started to slowly move away from them, which sucks because the whole point was to have all integrated in one platform, but they never truly apologized or offered to fix this problem at their own expense, they simply sent template emails. And I file my state obligations without them, yet they never auto-update their dashboard to what the secretary of state registry shows.
And again this was for 2 of my LLCs. I'm never opening a new company with them, awful customer experience.

Happy with their service
Overall, I’m very happy with the service. They are great at what they do, and the company incorporation and setup process was handled very well. I also understand that setting up a company in another jurisdiction can be complex, and their platform makes the process much easier.
There is still some room for improvement, particularly with the platform itself. For example, the dashboard contains promotional boxes for additional services such as banking or payment providers. In my case, I chose to work directly with Mercury, but the related box remains permanently on my dashboard with no option to dismiss it. Being able to customise the dashboard or remove notifications and offers that are not relevant would make the overall experience much better.
That said, these are relatively minor points. I’m still happy to use their service and would recommend them. They are very good at their core service, but there are definitely a few areas where the platform experience could be improved.

The process was pretty straight forward although quite daunting as someone who is a bit of a tech phobe. Registering my LLC has been a game changer for me in my business, as it has allowed me to charge from Stripe (in South Africa). I am very grateful for Firstbase. I had a great experience with Firstbase. The entire process was simple, fast, and much quicker than I expected. Everything was clearly explained, which was especially valuable to me as an international founder.
I really appreciated the platform, the notifications throughout the process, and the examples provided at each step. Having a clear standard or reference to follow made everything much easier. I also had a few questions along the way, and the support team responded very quickly through the chat.
One area I would love to see Firstbase expand is more country-specific guidance for international founders. I am based in Mexico, and it would be helpful to have more clarity on which local documents, processes, or next steps Firstbase can support with, and which ones need to be handled separately.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend Firstbase. It made the incorporation process feel straightforward and manageable, and I am excited to try the rest of their products.

Good incorporation experience
Good incorporation experience, but pricing and upselling should be more transparent
I used Firstbase to create Agestone, and the incorporation process itself was smooth and well organized. The platform is easy to use, and the initial setup was handled efficiently.
However, the total cost was not as transparent as I expected. Additional fees appeared throughout the process, and it felt like the AutoPilot program was effectively required rather than presented as a genuinely optional service. AutoPilot may be useful for some companies, but it is not necessarily the right solution for every business, especially smaller or simpler structures.
Firstbase would offer a much better experience if it clearly disclosed the full expected cost from the beginning and allowed clients to choose compliance services without pressure or bundled obligations.

Good experience for managing a U.S. company from abroad
My experience with Firstbase has been positive overall. The incorporation process was smooth, and the platform has made it easier to manage several important aspects of the company in one place.
As a founder based outside the U.S., I found their guidance and support useful, especially for understanding processes that can be unfamiliar at the beginning. Communication has been clear, and I have not had any major issues with the service.
