When I started with car shield 4 years ago, nothing to worry about said the sales man , after 4 years had a claim. 3,494.97 car shield covered 1,100 car shield said they would cover rent a car, after rented, car shield declined 132.00 so I paid 3,526.00 not good

Very easy to deal with

I was not very happy about the process of car repairs and it was like I was caught in the middle of the dispute. There has to be some accountability and the customer shouldn’t have to go through all that stress.

They took care of my account my account on my credit card got hacked and they notified me that the payment was not made right away so i got a hold of them and it solved immediately

I don’t know if it’s good or not I haven’t had to use it

I was a customer with Cardshield for 3 years and paid a total of over $3000. in total towards monthly payments. The one time I used it for an A/C issue CarShield would only approve a portion of the repair cost after a $150 deductible that I paid. In total they only covered about $300 of the repair cost. I would have been better off taking that monthly payment and putting into a savings account for future repairs. Live and learn I guess.

After meeting my deductible...Carsheid paid for repair coverage, without any delay.

My claim for a new fuel pump was resolved incredibly fast with no difficulties at all.

Easy transaction with Car Shield rep and clear explanation the process to get my car repaired.

I called them and told them my car was an older Mustang and they sold me a plan for 175. A month. And said it will kick in after one month. After .2 months my car needed service. Car Shield would not cover it because they said you have to put several miles on your car every year in order to qualify. They failed to tell me that when I purchased their warranty. I live close to everything so I don’t put many miles on my car and therefore did not qualify. They would not refund my 2 months even though they knew I wasn’t covered. Be careful of their deceptive practices!!!

For years, I have been putting off Car Shield. After running around a lot of "Run Arounds," I have come home to Car Shield. With a newer used car, I pray every day not to break down, even though, I am covered. Thank you.

Car Shield does not pay the full cost of repairs. They have a schedule of prices that they will pay for each repair. For my recent repair, they paid half the actual cost of the repair.

Everything was great. The only thing that could be better is the communication between your customer service personnel and the repair shop. They told me one thing and they told them something different, this was the only problem.
